    Description

    Queenstown Airport is located in Frankton, Otago, New Zealand, and serves the resort town of Queenstown. The airport is 8 km from the Queenstown CBD. The airport handled 2.25 million passengers as of 2018 making it the fourth busiest airport in New Zealand by passenger traffic. It is mainly used by tourist / flightseeing operators.

    This pack adds to the existing Queenstown Airport & fixes lots of heights in and around the Asobo base aiport

    -Fixed runways & taxiways with new textures 
    -Fixed parking spots & added more + helipads
    -Fixed aprons
    -Fixed painted lines
    -Fixed objects in jetways 
    -Replaced most hangars with a better representation
    -Removed lots of random auto gen objects
    -Fixed shotover river & opened up some gravel bars 
    -Added Queenstown Marina 
    -Added local jetboat companies
    -Added groomers up mountains plus some other items (Winter pack library required)

    Excellent work on such a fun airport to fly in and out of! I really enjoy my time here whatever I am flying! One small request - whenever I use BeyondATC when flying the A320, it asks me to taxi via A, which is not suitable for such large aircraft. Is there something you can change to force a backtrack on the runway instead, or is that a setting for them to fix? This is a 5/5 either way though! :D

    I have the Inibuilds NZQN scenery installed, but run this mod in parallel as well. The reason is simple: T0kenDesign has a heart for those who fly smaller GA aircraft (or in my case, a BN2 Islander) and has included all the GA parking spots that the Inibuilds airport lacks completely. Now NZQN is much more useful for me, even with duplicated markings (that I happily accept). Thank you!

    Hello. I just did a flight on NZQN with your scene activated in addition to the native Microsoft Asobo scene.
    I notice some hangars nested in the airport buildings.

    Thank you for improving default "handcrafted" airport by Asobo. Btw Recommended Dave's 3D People Library by BadMed is not available to download for many months now (file removed).

    Great freeware, thank you very much for your work. Would you consider making a version without some of the static GSE for those of us with GSX? For example the static stairs at gate 3 make it difficult to use the GSX passengers and stairs for boarding. Without the static aircraft would be nice too.

    Always when arriving at NZQN by using FBW's A32NX I'm missing the possibility to call for a jetway (that would in this case stand for an airstair) in order to de-board the PAX. I can call for everything, like catering, baggage service, or a fuel truck, but not even a ladder is available. This would make this already great airport nearly perfect.

    If you have the latest Inibuilds v1.0.1 ZQN installed should it be removed before using your version? Just wondering if it's any advantage in running both together?

    I think they would conflict. overlapping textures in the airport etc. Everything outside of that should be alright though
