Description
V1.1 Fixed missing polygon around breakwater.
Victoria was ranked the #1 Best Small City in the World, by travel magazine Condé Naste. I can agree on that. It is also one of the most thilling flights to take, by either float plane or Heli-Jet, from Vancouver or Seatle. So part 1 fo this projet is dedicated to the float planes. The next one will focus on the Coast Guards and pads out at Ogden Point.
There are dedicated docks at the terminal. Parking 4 can be tricky getting out of. I suggest a smaller plane for that position. Caution take it nice and slow coming up to the docks. If you hit them too hard you will get hung up on them.. very embarassing. Parking 4 is particularly tricky to exit. Hint - smaller planes are better and if you get grounded put your geer down.
The wind sock is at the corner where the Coast Guard is.
The Johnson St bridge is animated but the traffic still goes over.. sorry..
Watch out for the little harbour ferry. It may get in your way when you are taxing out.
Caution- this file is fairly large and may cause some fps slowdown. I did my best with some of the other structures but the photgrametry is not good for this city. I even tried Google Earth - no better.
Highly recommend Harbour Air livery for the Twin Otter and Beaver Nice :)

For Victoria International Airport, I use the fine version by Simaddons.com
Have fun. Visit often. If you like it.. 5 stars are always welcome. Other than that please leave a comment.

I am currently working on some other projects, Brandon Man and Sault St Marie. Your suggestion is a good one. I thank you for your 5 stars.. :)

As for the docks, They have an invisible barrier so that aircraft don't simply go through them. I wanted to have the ability to bump into the dock and stop. I think if you go too fast then you might climb up on top of the dock.

Amazing work! Would you ever consider doing Nanaimo Harbour Water Aerodrome? My hometown... :)

Sorry I meant adding an 'apron' with the correct RGB values to match the surrouning water will get rid of those ghost images.

What a wonderful job you have done and I have a bit of an idea how much work went into this as I have created some floatplane airports which took a long time yet their quality is no where near as good as yours. I visited Victoria some year ago and it is a beautiful place. Thanks again for the wonderful package. You can remove the left over 'ghost' images (from satellite imagery) of floatplanes and boats seen with the simple addition of an exclude rectangle. That would elevate my rating from 4.999 stars to 5 ;-)

Loving this mod add-on. If you are twigging it, two suggestions. The Blue Bridge is highly lit with blue light across the entire deck, upper and lower. The current night lighting in mod your looks like it only covers the east end of the bridge. Also, the small island where you currently have a red buoy in front on the new marina/restaurant complex has a white light that blinks on and off when aircraft are landing or taking off. Its to alert boaters. Great work, I m looking forward to Part 2 and Helijet p[ads et al. Please let me know if you want me to beta t6est ;-)

HI.. Thanks.. It is always great to have a local check up on things. I looked for info on harbour lighting but couldn't find anything. Same for windsock? I was going to include the Helijet but it needs to be in a separate "land" based airport. They haven't figured out how to add a helipad to a water runway yet.
The blue bridge was something I added as a request of a user. I had no idea what it looked like but I assumed the lights followed the bridge up and down.
Sure. It would be great to get a tester. :)
