KVBT - Bentonville Municipal Airport / Louise M Thaden Field
Bentonville Municipal Airport is a small airport located in northwestern Arkansas in the town of Bentonville. The main runway is 18-36 (4426x65 ft / 1349x20 m) with a parallel grass runway 17-35 (2448x75 ft / 746x23 m). The airport is notorious for it's unique circular apron in front of the equally unique Fieldhouse restaurant. The threshold of runway 18 is elevated and hangs out over the pond giving takeoffs and approaches a great view.

Known Issues:
- None right now but I did not do very intense testing on this one so feel free to let me know if something is messed up

Scenery error = ICAO Duplicate detected
it seems, it collides, bekause this scenery seems to be detected by Microsoft Addon linker as ICAO=KAUW (..and not as ICAO=KVBT)
Anyhow, also here many Thx for this wonderfull place to fly from Warstein in Germany

Any chance of an update when they finish runway widening and new runway lights that they are doing this month?

NVM, I had Bentonville scenery by enjoyitfly loaded which caused this issue.

Anybody else have a problem with taxiway elevation in front of the hanger with American flag doors? I have an abrupt rise of about 2 feet so I can't taxi over to the fieldhouse. Great work on this airport.

I know the added a Displaced Threshold on the 36 end now the runway is 5000 feet added a little more than 500 feet

Good catch! Yeah, the runway was extended and they also added an additional taxiway to 36 from the eastern ramp. I chose not to include it, at least on the first release, due to some weird things that happened to the terrain elevation when I extended the runway. At the time I did not want to deal with it but when I have some free time I can try to go back and update it.

I thank you so much. As a kid we were in the approach pattern of Left Base for 18 I always looked up at the aircraft. I always loved watching Sams Rockwell Twin flying over my house. The neighborhood is gone now. I did work there for a little over a year before the expansion and heard them talking about the plans.

Great airport. Would you consider doing KROG next? Home airport to Walmart's corporate fleet. Right up the road from this one.
