Scenery of Amersfoort (inner city)
Amersfoort is a city and municipality in the province of Utrecht, Netherlands and is situated at the eastern edge of the Randstad. As of 1 January 2019, the municipality had a population of 156,286, making it the second-largest of the province and fifteenth-largest of the country.

This scenery has been extracted from Google Maps, hence all 3D credits goes to Google.
This scenery has been generated with the Google Earth Decoder tool:

Known issues:
- City building textures coloring can be a bitt off.
- I tried to find a good balance in performance vs visuals so that's why the focus is on the inner part of the city.

Hi Matt,

Like what you did.

Could you perhaps expand the photogrametry towards the A28 (Highway South of Amersfoort) A few parts that are part of the city are now outside of the photogrametry and the transition between the two is really harsh.

Stunning work.Love your work really..Whenever you should be get bored(grin)and find the time and energy , maybe you could have a look at the City Venlo.Would be so great to fly around this scenery. Its close to where i live..So yess!! pleasssseee.Greetings Andre

Dear Matt88, thank you so much for your splendid work. I was born and raised in Amersfoort. I don't live there anymore, but seeing the "Lange Jan" always gives me the reassuring emotion of feeling at home. So when I saw what it looked like in the default MSFS scenery, I thought adding a recognizable version would be the first thing I'd want to add once I get around to learning how to use the SDK. But then I found that you had done the entire inner city! Great and thank you so much!
Beautifully Done,
Greetings from BC, Cnd.
Thank you! Blending is amazing.
Thank you for your effort.. but Too many objects(13,891 files)..almost slow down to load MSFS2020. Please check it "New optimisation tool for Google Earth Decoder MSFS sceneries".. You can optimize it. Please check it out. https://www.reddit.com/r/FS2020Creation/comments/jhvhq0/new_optimisation_tool_for_google_earth_decoder/

Groeten uit Amersfoort.
Geweldig!! ..kan je Leiden ook doen?
Beautiful!!...the colors match very nicely with the surroundings.
Could you perhaps take a look at doing Maastricht?
