    Description

    3/1/2023 -- IF YOU HAVE THE MARKETPLACE VERSION OF THE 414, PLEASE READ: Flysimware made an inadvertant change to the folder name structure for the Marketplace version of the aircraft causing liveries and other mods to stop function for aircraft bought from there. This change will be rolled back and all existing livery mods should work again when they do. Currently no ETA that I am aware of from FSW.

    Cape Air Livery for the Flysimware Cessna 414 Chancellor. 

    Though it is probably obvious, this is NOT a full aircraft - just a livery. You will need to own the Flysimware Cessna 414 to use this livery. 

    Also, there are variants included for the PMS GTN750 and the TDS GTN750NXi - The GPSs are NOT part of this package. you must independently own the corresponding GPS Add-on from either TDS or PMS for that variant to have a functioning GPS.

    This is my first published livery, so I am sure there will be small issues here and there. There are small improvements I will continue to make. Also, the aircraft itself is currently still in Beta which means there may be patches that break the livery. I will do my best to keep it up to date as quickly as possible whenever a new version of the Cessna is released.     It works on 2024 but it takes me to the 750 instead of the g530 but it works!!!

    Even when you use the GNS specific livery? There are different liveries for the different avionics layouts due to how the aircraft is coded/made by FSW.

    Mine works for 2024. I haven't labelled as such yet as I think I need to remove the GTN750 + WT variant. But please check the regular PMS GTN 750 or the other two out and let me know if you have any issues

    Awesome livery! If you're still interested in this plane, might I suggest making N6672C which is an actual C414A (formerly) operated by Cape Air? Sadly it doesn't have the winglet STC like in the sim, but otherwise I think it would match nicely.

    I thought about that, but it want my understanding that the 414 was the owner's personal aircraft, and I'm not sure it ever ran as a passenger carrier?

    I don't think it ever did. It was definitely owned by the airline, but I heard a similar story to you. I was told that it got used to ferry C-suite folks around.

    Hello. The livery is currently buggy.

    1. The values in the aircraft.cfg file are different than in the stock liveries (fuel burn etc.).

    2. The tail registration on the aircraft is "N290CA" or "N26632" but it gets reported as "N750" to Volanta and in other places.

    Please fix.

    I'm guessing they must have changed the values in theirs in a recent patch. I'll investigate and correct if they aren't going to change values back. Not that it matters, but I'm not sure that warranted the 1-star though, eh?

    Confirmed that the values have changed. I did take my cfg file from one of their files, but it was several versions ago. I will update the values across my liveries. Appreciate the heads up. Still not sure that warranted blasting my liveries with a 1-star, but to each their own, I guess.

    Dear creator. If a livery changes the way a plane physically behaves (fuel burn) in the sim and doesn't report the correct tail registration, then it is a product which deserves 1 star, because it is failing to do what it is supposed to provide, effectively having zero value to me. This is nothing personal, just a reflection of reality. Please fix all bugs, which are still present, and I'll change my review to reflect the value of this livery accordingly. Thank you.

    Something seems to have happened again. The liveries don't show up in the sim anymore. In my case it's the Marketplace version as well. Perhaps you might want to look into that.

    Thanks for your reply! One additional observation: the Pride-livery works fine after installing it yesterday for the first time. Which is strange enough and may hint to user error. Feel free to contact me via DM in case I shall check something specific.

    Consider it solved. I re-downloaded and re-installed the package and now it works fine again. Not sure what happened in the meantime as I had been on the latest version already. So, classical user error, I guess.
    Thanks again for your work! I love flying those Cape Air sectors.
