Fährt man von der Landesstraße B14 eine Abkürzung nach Murrhardt, so kommt man an einem der beliebtesten Flugplätze im Stuttgarter Umland vorbei, dem Flugplatz Backnang-Heiningen (EDSH).

Hier ist immer was los. Mehrere Vereine, wie der Luftsportverein Backnang-Heiningen e.V. betreiben aktiven Segelflugsport und verfügen neben zahlreichen Segelfliegern auch über zwei Motorflugzeuge der ECHO-Klasse. Ein besonderer Flieger, der auch im MSFS viele Fans hat, ist die Aviat Huskey.

Airworxx, eine kleine Gruppe von eingefleischten Fans der Ultraleicht-Klasse bildet am Standort zu Piloten der MIKE-Klasse aus.

Die Umgebung lohnt sich! Fliegt von hier aus gerne mal nach Völkleshofen (EDYX) oder nach Pattonville (EDTQ). Weiter weg liegen Walldürn, Schwäbisch Hall oder Heubach (wo heute noch der Scheibe Falke gebaut und betreut wird).

Viel Spaß mit diesem ersten Entwurf des Flugplatz Backnang-Heinginen und denkt dran: "Höhe ist Sicherheit!"

If you take a shortcut from the B14 highway to Murrhardt, you will pass one of the most popular airfields in the Stuttgart area, the Backnang-Heiningen airfield (EDSH).

There is always something going on here. Several clubs, such as the Luftsportverein Backnang-Heiningen e.V., practice active gliding and, in addition to numerous glider pilots, also have two ECHO-class motor planes. A special aircraft, which also has many fans in the MSFS, is the Aviat Huskey.

Airworxx, a small group of die-hard fans of the ultralight class trains at the site to become pilots of the MIKE class.

The surrounding area is worth a visit! Fly from here to Völkleshofen (EDYX) or to Pattonville (EDTQ). Further away are Walldürn, Schwäbisch Hall or Heubach (where the Scheibe Falke is still built and maintained).
