    Description

    Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, also known as "The Guitar Hotel", is a casino resort near Hollywood, Florida, United States. The iconic Guitar Hotel brings 638 luxury guestrooms and suites to the resort. Designed to resemble back-to-back guitars, complete with guitar faces and brightly lit strings, this engineering masterpiece reaches 450 feet into the sky, outfitted with floor-to-ceiling glass panes.

    This hotel was completed in 2019 and can be seen from miles away, especially when on approach and departure from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (KFLL).

    Seems this is compatible with the 2020 version but not 2024. Any chance of this coming to 2024? I'd love to have this in game as I have lots of memories from here.

    I finished up here after landing at KFLL this afternoon after flying the C208 from England to here on a ferry trip to a new customer. 53 Hours and 4500 NM (real time) later and I'm kicking it by the pool!
    One little note; the terrain around the pool seems a little odd - there's a 20 foot gap between the terrain you've done and then a body of water below. Looks a bit odd but it's Asobo's fault.
    But Hey! - I'm just glad to be here!
    That is a huge guitar - imagine the size of the plectrum - you'd need a crew of six.

    The Las Vegas strip updates in World Update 2, particularly the beam coming off the Luxor, got me wondering if it's possible to add the beams to this monstrosity at night? As much as I love this add-on, it still doesn't quite capture just how obnoxious this eyesore is. The bright green light still makes it very useful for VFR at night, though! https://i.imgur.com/wt8HTtl.jpg

    I can normally see the beams from the roof of my building in Pompano Beach, some 20 miles away.

    This scenery contains modellib.bgl which conflicts as per Asobo's recommendations. I'll leave a link to a MSFS forum discussion about what it is and how to fix it. It would mean a lot if you could fix it please, because it really is a great scenery. Thank you!

    Hello and thank you for pointing that out. I had read about this issue and had made sure to have unique BGLs for all my projects going forward but I guess I had forgotten to check this scenery.

    Issue has been fixed on version 1.1 that I just uploaded. Also added POI marker.

    Hi. Dude. I dont see the Guitar, is not there. I download the Hard rock cakfe stadium amd work but not the guitar.

    Hello. I just tested and I see it even after the USA update. Please double check that "aquilasim-guitarhotel" folder is inside the Community folder. More detailed instructions are found in the manual in PDF format in the archive.

    @Acktu Oh OK, yes it is the Hard Rock Hotel. I have downloaded this scenery but have not flown the area yet. I had only looked at the pictures tied to this posting and couldn't see the hotel so I thought it might not have been included. If you added the hotel that is right along the Turnpike then you probably do have it included. My apologies. I can do a test flight in the area later on today to confirm. Thanks again.

    @muzik4all Thank you :) I wanted to ask you specifically which hotel you are referring to that is not included. I did include the old hotel that is close to the Turnpike but maybe there is another that I am missing?
