| An elevated rail tunnel from the Sonora mainland near el Sargento to Isla Tiburon across the Gulf of California which was abandoned due to lack of funding. It seems a shame not to use it for some precision flying :)
An airstrip with ICAO code PZ99 has been placed close to the northern entrance of the tunnel
The rail tunnel is 7.5 kilometers long and only 20 metres in diameter but with skill and the right aircraft I'm sure you can take on the challenge. Once commited to the entrance there is no going back so buckle up and enjoy the rush!
If you have the 'We love VFR' mod installed the tunnel will be filled with smoke in places :)

I'm particularly proud of this one.
If doing it with the Pitts was (relatively) easy, with the Stearman it was an upper level. Needed a few more attempts and a real fine tuning of elevator, ailerons and pitch trim.

I tried at night, unfortunately the tunnel seems to be illuminated also outside. During dayflight, it seems too illuminated. Do you have plans to improve this awesome addon?

Well to start it's a pipe not a tunnel and personally I think texture choice is odd to say the least. I love the idea and normally the maker of this released some cool stuff but this looks super rushed and like doesn't have even a gram of love his other works have. Personally very glad Jeppeson is making an actual tunnel that's sim quality out soon.

This mod was done in a couple of hours as a concept, people liked it and want to play with it so it was uploaded so it could easily be shared. The texture was chosen to give a good impression of speed in the tunnel. Most of my scenery development can take weeks before I'm happy to upload it and even then it will go through weeks of additional refinements. Pipe vs Tunnel? not important, Mexican tunnel run sounded better than Mexican pipe run. To end, I really do appreciate an honest and valid review so even the one star is ok. Kev

I've spent complete last night to fly your tunnel with differents planes. Not often successful but so funny. It needs good skills to to see the sun again...

Collision and Road textures are enabled on the textures so the plane should crash if/when one of the contact points on the plane hits the surface

Challenge failed, we can see your wings touching the walls 2 or 3 times wich means that in real life you'd be dead.
