Description
This is simply a solid helipad to go with Spas3man's scenery pack which can be found here.
This will allow you to land on the helipad and not clip straight through. Very useful for completing missions using the Helicopter Emergency Operations addon, as you may be asked to airlift a patient to Leeds General Infirmary, so adds to the experience.
There is some flickering as my textures fight with the original texture, from certain distances, but disappears as you get close. There is also no night lighting currently.
I plan to release a stand-alone version very soon, for those that do not wish to use the current Leeds pack, which will just include the hospital.
Simply unzip to your Community folder and enjoy!

Yeah, it's all in the description! I do plan on just doing a standalone hospital at some point as there is already a half-decent model on 3d SketchUp that can be used. I will get round to it eventually...

I just had a successful landing WITH the hospital present. Spas' scenery doesn't conflict with ORBX' Central UK, it all went and looked well.

Nice job! I had this one on my list but I am happy to cross it off and use yours. This is much better than I could have done. I am only adding helipads, no custom buildings, although I did try to recreate the Nottingham Tennis Centre for Queen's Medical Centre site but tennis courts and fields are pretty easy. I have been creating helipads to support the HErO app as well (uploaded on this site as UK Major Trauma Hospital Helipads Support Project). I think I am up to 13 so far and I will add some more this weekend. Let me know if you have any more hospitals planned and I will skip them. I am trying to have a helipad at every location for HErO app.

I've done the RVI in Newcastle and Darent Valley Hospital too. I don't have any more planned at the moment. These have really just been requests from the vHEMS Discord channel on RotorSimPilot's Discord server.
I want to concentrate on creating air ambulance home locations. Started with Wiltshire's Air Ambulance base but that needs some more work on it, to be honest.

I'm going to guess you need "Spas3man's scenery pack" for the actual building to show up? The helipad shows up but on it's own. Probably might be worth doing a standalone version as I'm sure Spas3man's scenery pack will conflict with Orbx UK Central if they have both added the same/similar buildings in the area. Was still fun landing on the pad though! Nice work.
