Anjung Spotter, KLIA (WMKK) Hand Built - Image 1

    Description

Anjung Spotter is an observation deck situated just outside the perimeter of the Kuala Lumpur International Airport, adjacent to one of KUL's (ICAO: WMKK) three runways, 32L.

From the Anjung Spotter, members of the public are able to capture panoramic moments of aircraft taking off and landing on the runway.

This plugin is to compliment our existing WMKK plugin version 1.3.1 available exclusively through flightsim.to

    WMKK KLIA Hand Built

With version 1.1 we have added a number of animated characters to help bring the scene to life which requires the following additional third party package:

This is amazing for 2 reasons: (1.) The quality of your work is next level (I have seen your KUL airport on this site) (2.) Its so cool that such a thing even exists! They actually made a raised sheltered platform for people to watch the airplanes! I plane on visiting KUL in the future with my gf (Im from the UK shes from the Philippines) thanks to this mod of yours I now know of the existence of this place! Cant wait to visit it for real! Thanks for your work! :-)

Sorry for the late reply. Nice one, will toally give you a shout out on here well before we make it there! Heading out that way (to the Philippines) later this year and then heading to Singapore with the gf. Just across from us will be Malaysia so will try to squeeze in a visit! Wish there was a train from SG.

    Hi jibster88,

Thanks for your supportive comments ya.

I've a whole load of buildings around the golden triangle left over from a go-karting sim I was working on a few years back. I turned the KLCC fountain area into a go kart track, the kart sim never made it due to other commitments, but I still have all the hi-rises so that may be my next big Malaysia project. Depends on how KLIA does.

Wow! I had a trip planned to Kuala Lumpur on May 1st of last year. I don't think it will come as any surprise that it was cancelled, just like everything was in 2020. The rescheduled conference was in Toronto, which as an American living near New York City, sure does not have the same exotic nature as Malaysia. Thank you for letting me experience all the plane spotting I missed out on, from the comfort of my own home... no less. Amazing!

    Hi Cosmos,

Thanks for the comment and sorry to hear about your trip being cancelled. It's been a tough time for the world. Hopefully one day you can visit (things are slowly but surely improving) and if you get to Anjung Spotter give me a shout. I live 40 minutes from there, never visited before and can't travel there either at the moment, I'll bring some beers.

Awesome, I plan on taking you up on that. Should you find yourself in New York City, I will be happy to return the favor. We can go to a roof top bar and watch the planes coming in and out of JFK and LaGuardia.

    Hi mate,

Yes they are both compatible, and have been developed along side each other.

I've corrected the typo in the description :)
