CAUTION! These flights have less to do with flying, but are rather a tour with many sights in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. You might feel overwhelmed by all the information and texts, because you have to press the pause button again and again to follow all the information and you might get tired of it at some point. Also, not all of the events described are viewed objectively. Since I grew up in this country and have lived in it for over 60 years, I have taken the liberty of including my own views in some places. My fate and therefore also my history are closely linked to this country.

For this trip I followed the AddOn "Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Landmarks by kevair" - many thanks for the great work!!! - except for a few things, such as the Schwerin Castle or the Hanseatic cities of Rostock and Stralsund, which you simply can not omit. For all waypoints there are explanations with the artificial TTS voice.

Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania is first and foremost the number one vacation state in Germany, with the lowest population density. However, it is also the federal state that repeatedly struggles with high unemployment rates and wages that are far too low. Nevertheless, many retirees and pensioners move to M-V to spend their twilight years here in healthy nature and as fresh sea air as possible, if they can afford it.

 

Installation:

Download the package and unzip a folder from the two included archives into the community folder of the flight simulator. Read the read-me-first.txt file before installation.

 

Specification:

• The trip consists of 3 parts, with a total of 9 legs.
• You fly with Bell 407 Helicopter. Some of the objects are not quite to scale, so they are a bit small. To be able to look at them, you have to go very deep. Some objects are very close to each other. Therefore it is appropriate to fly very slowly in some cases. This cannot be done with an airplane.
• The package is multilingual in the languages: English US, Spanish, French, Italian, Polish, Portuguese BR, Portuguese, Russian, Dutch, Finnish, Norwegian and Swedish. The basic language is German. The other languages are machine translated, so there may be errors in the translation. If you have a better translation, please send it to me.
• The package contains 2 identical versions of the trip. In addition, the version with the ending "DE" contains sound files in German with a real voice.
• A GPS course is available that can be obtained. (see https://www.koschis-web.de/en-us/help-and-support#gps)
• All the sights are marked, but not all of them are described.
• Weather is freely selectable. Live weather is preset.
• Trip will not end until engine and electrics are shut down.

Mecklenburg-Vorpommern - Mein Land - Meine Geschichte
 

VORSICHT! Diese Flüge haben weniger mit der Fliegerei zu tun, sondern sind eher eine Tour mit vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Du könntest dich von den vielen Informationen und Texten überfordert fühlen, weil du immer wieder die Pause-Taste drücken musst, um den vielen Informationen folgen zu können und es wäre möglich, dass du irgendwann müde davon wirst. Außerdem sind nicht alle beschriebenen Ereignisse objektiv betrachtet. Da ich in diesem Land aufgewachsen bin und seit über 60 Jahren in ihm lebe, habe ich mir erlaubt, an manchen Stellen auch meine eigenen Sichtweisen einfließen zu lassen. Mein Schicksal und damit auch meine Geschichte sind eng mit diesem Land verknüpft.

Bei diesem Trip habe ich mich an das AddOn „Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Landmarks von kevair“ gehalten – vielen Dank für die tolle Arbeit!!! – bis auf ein paar Dinge, wie z.B. das Schweriner Schloss oder die Hansestädte Rostock und Stralsund, die man einfach nicht auslassen kann. Zu allen Wegpunkten gibt es Erklärunge mit der künstlichen TTS-Stimme.

Mecklenburg-Vorpommern ist vor allem das Urlaubsland Nummer 1 in Deutschland und hat dabei die niedrigste Bevölkerungsdichte. Allerdings ist es auch das Bundesland, das immer wieder mit hohen Arbeitslosenzahlen und viel zu niedrigen Löhnen zu kämpfen hat. Nichts desto trotz ziehen viele Pensionäre und Rentner nach M-V, um hier ihren Lebensabend in gesunder Natur und möglichst frischer Seeluft zu verbringen, wenn sie es sich denn leisten können.

 

Installation:

Lade das Paket herunter und entpacke einen Ordner aus den zwei enthaltenen Archiven in den Community-Ordner des Flugsimulators. Lies vor der Installation die Datei read-me-first.txt.

 

Spezifikation:

• Der Trip besteht aus 3 Teilen, mit insgesamt 9 Legs.
• Du fliegst mit Bell 407 Helicopter. Manche der Objekte sind nicht ganz Maßstabsgetreu und daher etwas klein geraten. Um sie betrachten zu können, muss man schon sehr tief gehen. Manche Objekte liegen sehr dicht beieinander. Deshalb ist es angebracht, teilweise auch sehr langsam zu fliegen. Mit einem Flugzeug ist das nicht zu schaffen.
• Das Paket ist multilingual in den Sprachen: Englisch US, Spanisch, Französisch, Italienisch, Polnisch, Portugiesisch BR, Portugiesisch, Russisch, Niederländisch, Finnisch, Norwegisch und Schwedisch. Die grundlegende Sprache ist deutsch. Die anderen Sprachen sind maschinell übersetzt, darum können Fehler in der Übersetzung enthalten sein. Wer eine bessere Übersetzung hat, kann sie mir bitte schicken.
• Das Paket enhält 2 gleiche Versionen des Trips. Darüberhinaus enthält die Version mit der Endung "DE" Sounddateien in deutscher Sprache mit echter Stimme.
• Ein GPS-Kurs ist vorhanden, der erhalten werden kann. (siehe https://www.koschis-web.de/de/hilfe#gps)
• Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind mit einer Markierung versehen, es gibt aber nicht für alle eine Beschreibung.
• Das Wetter ist frei wählbar. Live-Wetter ist voreingestellt.
• Der Trip wird erst beendet, wenn Motor und Elektrik abgestellt sind.
