Discover Germany - Part 1

Berlin, Baltic Sea, North Sea and Elbe River

After the World-Update 6 it is quite a challenge to create a Bush-Trip for Germany, especially since there are thousands of historical and important places, whose selection is quite difficult. Therefore, it can only be a selection and I hope you have fun discovering Germany for yourself. In addition, all sights of the World Update 6 for Germany are flown to in the trips.

We start in Berlin: once the capital of the Prussian Kingdom, then the capital of the Reich, then the capital of the socialist state of the German Democratic Republic - divided by a wall - today the capital of the reunited Germany. We continue to the Baltic Sea, to the islands of Usedom, Rügen and Poel. Via Schleswig-Holstein we reach Helgoland, the Weser and the Elbe, which we will follow for a while.

Installation:

Unzip the included folder from the package into the community folder. Restart the simulator.

Specification:

• The route covers 938 NM with 20 legs.
• You fly with a Cessna Skyhawk G1000. The aircraft is interchangeable with some manual work, see exchange file. Alternatively, there is also the MissionChanger from BuffyGC.
• The package is multilingual in the languages: English US, Spanish, French, Italian, Polish, Portuguese BR, Portuguese, Russian, Dutch, Finnish, Norwegian and Swedish. The basic language is German. The other languages are machine translated, so there may be errors in the translation. If you have a better translation, please send it to me.
• A GPS course is available that can be obtained. (see http://www.koschis-web.de/en-us/help-support#gps)
  In addition, each waypoint is provided with a clearly visible marker. This can be switched on in the support options / navigation aids.
• Weather is freely selectable. Live weather is preset.
• ATC is usable.
• The refueling button is only visible at airports with a refueling station.

Entdecke Deutschland – Teil 1

Berlin, Ostsee, Nordsee und Elbe

Nach dem World-Update 6 ist es schon eine Herausforderung einen Bush-Trip für Deutschland zu erstellen, zumal es tausende geschichtsträchtige und wichtige Orte gibt, deren Auswahl dann doch ziemlich schwerfällt. Von daher kann es letztlich nur eine Auswahl bleiben und ich hoffe du hast Spaß daran, Deutschland für Dich zu entdecken. Außerdem werden alle Sehenswürdigkeiten des World Update 6 für Deutschland in den Trips angeflogen.

Los geht es in Berlin: einst Hauptstadt des preußischen Königreiches, dann Reichshauptstadt, dann Hauptstadt des sozialistischen Staates der Deutschen Demokratischen Republik – geteilt durch eine Mauer – heute Hauptstadt des widervereinigten Deutschlands. Weiter geht es an die Ostsee, zu den Inseln Usedom, Rügen und Poel. Über Schleswig-Holstein gelangen wir nach Helgoland, an die Weser und die Elbe, der wir ein Stück folgen werden.

Installation:

Entpacke den enthaltenen Ordner aus dem Paket in den Community-Ordner. Starte den Simulator neu.

Spezifikation:

• Die Route führt mit 20 Legs über 938 NM.
• Du fliegst mit einer Cessna Skyhawk G1000. Das Flugzeug ist mit etwas Handarbeit austauschbar, siehe Exchange-Datei. Alternativ gibt es dazu auch den MissionChanger von BuffyGC.
• Das Paket ist multilingual in den Sprachen: Englisch US, Spanisch, Französisch, Italienisch, Polnisch, Portugiesisch BR, Portugiesisch, Russisch, Niederländisch, Finnisch, Norwegisch und Schwedisch. Die grundlegende Sprache ist Deutsch. Die anderen Sprachen sind maschinell übersetzt, darum können Fehler in der Übersetzung enthalten sein. Wer eine bessere Übersetzung hat, kann sie mir bitte schicken.
• Ein GPS-Kurs ist vorhanden, der erhalten werden kann. (siehe http://www.koschis-web.de/de/help#gps)
  Zusätzlich ist jeder Wegpunkt mit einer gut sichtbaren Markierung versehen. Diese kann in den Unterstützungsoptionen / Navigationhilfen eingeschaltet werden.
• Das Wetter ist frei wählbar. Live-Wetter ist voreingestellt.
• ATC ist nutzbar.
• Der Tanken-Button ist nur auf Flughäfen mit Tankstelle sichtbar.

Viel Spaß beim Fliegen und Entdecken, Koschi

Not all bush trips features are yet available in MSFS 2024. You can tell because MS/ASOBO has not yet published any of these missions in MSFS 2024 that were otherwise included in MSFS 2020. This is my first attempt to make these popular missions accessible to users again. However, they are subject to some problems and limitations.

• Before starting the engine, you must exit the aircraft and remove the covers and chocks.
• After starting the engine, you should turn on the fuel pump. Otherwise, the engine may stop working after takeoff. The fuel pump can be turned off again during the flight.
• The departure and destination airports in the flight plan are also ignored. For take-off, you can temporarily use the EFB as a guide. As soon as you have reached the first waypoint, the autopilot will follow the GPS course. The same applies to the destination airport, or you can use the DirectTo function on the G 1000.
• Refueling is not possible – neither in the EFB nor at a gas station. Use the “Repair and refuel” function for this and assign a button or button combination to this function.
• There is no Navlog with descriptions. For this purpose, the package includes flight books in German, English and French. The PDF file can be displayed and read on another device during the flight.

Im MSFS 2024 stehen bisher noch nicht alle Funktionen für Wildnisflüge zur Verfügung. Du kannst es daran erkennen, dass MS/ASOBO bisher keine dieser Missionen im MSFS 2024 veröffentlicht hat, die sonst im MSFS 2020 enthalten waren. Dies ist ein erster Versuch von mir, diese beliebten Missionen wieder für die Nutzer zugänglich zu machen. Allerdings sind sie mit einigen Problemen und Einschränkungen behaftet.

• Bevor du den Motor startest, musst du aus dem Flugzeug aussteigen und die Abdeckungen und Bremsklötze entfernen.
• Nach dem Motorstart solltest du die Kraftstoffpumpe einschalten. Es kommt vor, dass der Motor sonst nach dem Start seinen Dienst versagt. Während des Reisefluges kann die Kraftstoffpumpe wieder ausgeschaltet werden.
• Start- und Zielflughafen im Flugplan werden ebenfalls ignoriert. Für den Start kannst du dich vorübergehend am EFB orientieren. Sobald du den ersten Wegpunkt erreicht hast, folgt der Autopilot dem GPS-Kurs. Für den Zielflughafen gilt das Gleiche oder nutze die Funktion DirectTo am G 1000.
• Ein Nachtanken ist nicht möglich - weder im EFB noch an einer Tankstelle. Nutze dafür die Funktion "Reparieren und Tanken" und weise dieser Funktion eine Taste oder Tastenkombination zu.
• Es gibt kein Navlog mit Beschreibungen. Für diesem Zeck befinden sich im Paket Flugbücher in deutscher, englischer und französischer Sprache. Die PDF-Datei kann während des Fluges auf einem anderen Gerät angezeigt und gelesen werden.
