    Description

    Welcome all and here we have ver. 2 of Sywell Aerodrome!

    After having a HDD fail and all work lost we have had to start again on version 2. this has a few more new models added including Sloane Helicopters hangar and fire trucks as well as a few small items and changes. Now there are 2 interactive fuel areas, the main fuel kiosk and the helipad H box at Sloane's, so now you can refuel both aircraft and helicopters at this airfield.

    To install, simply delete the existing Sywell Aerodrome and add this one to the community folder.

    Hi, were still working on Sywell at the moment, it is still in 2020, but i have done a small fix which will be with it so it will still work in 2024 but remove certain buildings that 2024 places

    hello thank you for this sywell is my local. please could you add some hangar animations/remove the blades since they have retired and add an airshow mode.

    Hi, the blades were removed a couple of updates ago. Hangar animations are a but beyond us at the minute, its just 3 of us doing this project but it is something we hope to add in the future. As for the airshow mode, that might be something we look into at some point but not for a while

    I just joined right now to ask the same question. I come from Newark on Trent in Nottinghamshire, but my home is Desborough in Northamptonshire. Because I'm in Desborough, Sywell Aerodrome is the nearest place to my home with aircraft. The nearest air base to my old home is RAF Syerston, it used to be a bomber base in WWII, but now, only gliders fly there.
