    Description

    O88 Rio Vista Municipal Airport

    Opened in 1994 to replace the old Rio Vista Airport which was closer to downtown and the Sacramento River, it is one of two of the newest public airports in California to open withing the last 30+ years. Changed the CTAF frequency to what it is currently (122.72) and added the AWOS station (127.07). Fixed all the lighting, taxiways, corrected the buildings, added perimeter fencing. Majority of the scenery items come from FS2024 up to the Aviator edition. Additional scenery elements are listed below. Please provide feedback if you have any issues.

    Thanks for this , I used to fly to the old airport in the mid 1990s during training for my PPL. Flying around here brings back memories.

This add-on features updated lighting, corrected taxiways, a new AWOS station, and enhanced scenery elements sourced from FS2024. While still a work in progress, most of the airports features have been implemented, including necessary improvements to the airports operational frequencies and infrastructure.
