    Description

    This add-on includes major updates and enhancements for the LOWW (Vienna International Airport) scenery by Gaya Simulations. It has been developed in cooperation between Josrash and myself. This package also integrates several previously released add-ons, including LOWW Layout Enhancements and LOWW Tower Beacon Lights.

    Should be released in the coming hours

    The following updates and changes have been made: 

    1.      Implemented all missing gates and parking stands with precise placement (including GAC parking stands) 

    2.      Removed stand F41 and gate D27 

    3.      Adjusted gate and parking stand sizes according to the latest AIRAC 2505

    4.      Added missing gate and stand markings, and corrected inaccurate ones 

    5.      Enhanced night lighting across the entire airport (including the addition of missing light poles in appropriate locations) 

    Downsides:

    1.      F33 uses the same Jetway as F35 and therefore F33 is currently a Bus only Gate 

    Installation: Download the zip file and extract the files anywhere. Then copy the folder inside it and paste it into the community folder

    ATTENTION: You need EDHK Lights & Objects Developers Pack (Asset-Pack) for Night Lighting:

    ATTENTION: If you have the following add-ons installed: 

    LOWW Layout Enhancement by Josrash

    LOWW TWR Beacon Lights by Josrash 

    Please remove them from your Community folder, as they are now all integrated into this single add-on.

    If anyone has the exact gate airline codes please let me know so I can edit them

    This is not an official patch from GAYA Simulations. Therefore, there is no support from GAYA for issues involving this mod.

    None of the original scenery files are modified by this mod.

    A lights and objects pack, made only for MSFS 2020, is a requirement to use this airport which can only be used for 2024?

    Worked in MSFS 24 for me without any problems and you can use it without but I like it better with the Light Pack

    Ich bin am suchen und finde von Gaya den Flughafen LOWW für 2024 nicht,
    es wird nur der 2020 angeboten. Kann ich denn 2020 auch für 2024 nutzen.

    The description says that the "EDHK Lights" package is required, but the package itself says "not compatible with FS2024". Shall I download and install it for FS2024 or not? Many thanks!

    I have not tried it without EDHK but I assume it is just like in Gayas Standard Version as we did not remove any lights from the original version

    Excellent job guys, it is really an awesome enhancement for Wien.

    I got a question now, any chance you may work also on the currently raising up new building (terminal expansion)? :-D

    We are not planning to do that at the moment. We would wait until the work finished in the new terminal and see what we can do.

    Found out today that with that with V 1.4 activated there is no runway lighting for 16/34 at night. 11/29 is ok. Tested with MSFS2024. If I remove the mod, lights are back.

    Used the already discontinued ADE Airport Editor Tool for it. It is a bit of a pain as you need to do it as the last step but it worked

    Directly edit the xml. It’s way faster than using ade.

    How do I make it into XML? With the same tool as I used in 2020? The bgl to project or what it was called?

    And lastly do you then guide ADE to use 2024 when compiling, because I tried to use ADE before, but it wanted to install 2020 in the compile phase

    Yeah ADE typically but BGLtoXML is also an option and than edit them. I prefer ADE cause you can list the gates and edit multiple at the same time and then I open it with MSFS in Dev Mode and build and export it there
