    AYPY Port Moresby Jacksons International 24

    AYPY serves the national capital as the primary international airport in PNG. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Port_Moresby_International_Airport

    Asobo have loaded the Port Moresby area with a total mess of overgrown trees. In reality Port Moresby is relatively dry and has fairly minimal tree cover. Hopefully this will be resolved sometime in the future.

    NOTE: This scenery is what it is. At my discretion I will update as required. If you don't like it, just delete it and revert to default.

    IMPORTANT: No dependencies required. Built entirely from default objects. Issues beyond my control may make some objects appear only when close-up. 

    My version of AYPY for 20 is still available at flightsim.to I will continue to update that version as necessary.

    Thanks to all who enjoy my variety of sceneries for 20 and now 24. I'm always happy to respond to your friendly comments

    Thanks mate, looks good. I lived in POM for 12 years in the 80's and 90's and spent a lot of time at Jacksons, hasn't changed much :)

    very nice airport!! I've found just a small glitch (in 2024) with some object levelling (a building and solar panels), maybe it could be corrected though :)

    Nice work thanks! There is only one issue with a tree too close to the taxyway A toward 14L (soon after taxyway P) which impacts with wings of large heavy aircrafts

    Hi

    Causes major issue when using the A359. on taxi A to 14L it causes the plane to jump 500m in air and crash

    Nice! There are a couple of elevation issues, I mean two monolith-like terrain spikes with some objects on top of them next to the airport.

    Good looking.
    The jetways don't seem to work for me though - with the Ae321neo (inibuilds).

    Jetways are default. I don't touch that stuff, it's way beyond my capabilities to fool around with that stuff😀

    I did disable custom Jetways in GSX...maybe one of my settings is wrong?

    Hi mountainair.
    Big fan of your work but It would be best to update your sceneries at the same page (i.e. not a new page for a new version) because otherwise it is almost impossible to keep track.
    You can even have a different download for 2020 and 2024 in the same page. Thanks again!

    Thanks "LS" . It has some small object issues which I will fix when Asobo get around to solving the problem but at least it' s useable

    Indeed, 2024 is pretty, but it does come with some issues. Great job on brining this classic PNG airport to the new sim.

    Hey Derek, it's great that you're updating your scenery for 2024. Unfortunately, I can't buy 2024 yet because my internet connection isn't good enough and my computer isn't the best anymore. That's why I'm sticking with 2020.. Have a good weekend!🦘🍻

    No worries my friend. I'll keep working on 2020 stuff for a while yet. It's a lot more stable than 24. Those guys at Asobo have an lot more work to do with 24.
