    Description

    There are breaking changes in file structure of this mod, PLEASE DELETE the following folders from your community mod folder before installing the new version (1.3):

    • kychungdotcom-airport-vnth-thamkharka

    Nepal is undergoing a quite aggressive plan to upgrade the airports in the country, more regional airports will be upgraded into international standard, more unpaved bushstrips will be lengthened and paved with asphalt, and new bushstrips are built. This pack includes 11 bushstrips which has been upgraded or newly built (some have been taken out as there are alternatives already):
    Upgraded:

    • VNBG - Bajhang
    • VNBT - Baitadi
    • VNDT - Doti
    • VNFN - Falgunanda (VNIL in the game)
    • VNPL -  Phaplu
    • VNSR - Sanphebagar
    • VNLD - Lamidanda
    • VNRT - Rumjatar
    • VNTJ - Taplejung

    New:

    • VNRG - Resunga
    • VNKK - Kalikot (real ICAO name pending assignment)


    Some of them is a little bit challenging to land, but the scenery around these bushstrips are just so beautiful. No custom handcrafted building is made for this pack. You are recommended to read the basic information of these airports (such as runway orientation and elevation) before you fly:

    it's marked as not compatible to 2024 - your other Airports are (VNPR, VNBW). Are you planning to make them compatible (or are they probably, but not yet tested and confirmed)?

    I didn't tested it on FS2024, so it may be compatible but not yet confirmed.

    I don't know if you're able to correct this but some of these airfields have trees right at the edges of both sides of the runways which makes it painfully difficult to land and take off smoothly. If it's on one side, it's understandable but on both ends it's unrealistic. One example is VNBT specifically. If you can do it, then please remove the trees. Thanks in advance!

    Seems also compatible with the OrbX Himalayas Mesh.
