    Description

    This is my initial attempt at Shemya Island, featuring Eareckson Air Station (IATA: SYA, ICAO: PASY), formerly USA Shemya Air Force Base. The default MSFS scenery is dire and I had to do something! This is version v0.5 and there is still much to do; I will add detail as time permits. I have never actually been to Shemya Island in real life and it is difficult finding up-to-date photographs of the place. I have re-textured Shemya, Alaid, and Nizki islands. added inland water, created custom buildings and ground markings with Blender etc. Enjoy!

    Don't forget about Google Maps to get a sat view of the island. There is also a Shemya Facebook group that may have some pictures that could help.

    Sorry everyone, I just noticed the runway profile wasn't correct and consequently the main apron had a massive on/off ramp. Fixed now; threshold elevations are correct as per FAA documentation.
