    Description

    Air Canada livery collection for the iFly 737 MAX 8 (SP1).

    Features:

    LIVERY INSTALLATION – 2020/2024
    • 1. Extract the .zip
    • 2. Select the "ifly-aircraft-737max8-XXX-XXXXX" livery you'd like to install and drag and drop into your community folder
    To Install Configurations:
    • 1. Load the iFly Manager.
    • 2. Click on “Manage Product.”
    • 3. Under the “Manage Product” page that appears, click on “Data Folder.” This will redirect you to

      the work folder we need to access.

    • 4. Hit “Yes” when the Data Folder Access warning appears. We won’t be modifying anything important, just telling the addon to use these configurations.
    • 5. A file explorer window will open. Click on the “work” folder that should be at the top.
    • 6. Drag and drop the .ini file (e.g., “iFly 737-MAX8 Air Canada Rouge C-FTJV (166Seats).ini”) file into this folder.
    To Install iPad/EFB Background:
    • 1. Extract the .zip
    • 2. Drag and drop the "wallpaper_AAL.png" file into "...\Community\ifly-aircraft-737max8\Data\Tool\EFB\wallpaper"

    Notice: This livery is the same version available through the iFly Manager. However, updates may be released here sooner than they appear in the iFly Manager, as manager updates must go through an additional review and distribution process. This package also includes optional downloads such as a matching EFB background and configuration files for users who prefer them.

    Hate to say it now but C-GEHI is operated by Rouge as well now. Perhaps if C-FSJJ could be brought back that would be great. Just a minor thing though and great liveries as usual!

    Thanks for this, and all of your other liveries. I really appreciate your efforts!

    One general question (not a criticism of your work at all), but I notice that for all iFly liveries the interior cabin textures are quite low resolution. Is this a limitation of the aircraft/paintkit itself? Or are you able to provide higher resolution textures? I assume it's been done primarily for performance reasons from iFly's side (I've not seen such a detailed plane perform as well as this one), but I was curious if it was possible for painters to provide higher res texturing if they wanted.

    Hi there. Yes, you're correct, a lot of iFly's textures are at a lower resolution than similar addons. My guess is for performance, but iFly has told us that they will provide improved textures and features in coming updates. If/when that happens, I can come back and upscale some things. Sometimes I'll upscale them now if it's really egregious, but I don't want to tip the scales and destroy performance for some users when iFly might have a native solution on their side in the works.

    Hi there. Unfortunately, that's 40 airplanes and that's simply too many for me to do for a pack. I can add some more registrations, but 40 is too many

    Thats fair, Tho the only real changes are Just Tail Numbers and Registrations, also Any Chance you can update the Air Canada Logo at the front in the Cabin to be more HD if you havent already
