The Netherlands is now on 4th place with the most scenery-addons for MSFS2020 (behind UK, Australia and US). Very impressive for such a small country!

We love to see more detailed stuff for the Netherlands.
For example Volkel Airforce Base. It is not there in the sim.

It looks like they left out a lot of military airfield on purpose. Gilze-Rijen and Kleine Brogel (across the border in Belgium) are also not modeled.

I also remembered making that film in Deventer and parts of Gelderland. I was 14 years old in those days. My brother asked for a job as figurant, but unfortunatily didn`t get in.

I was growing up in the Nijmegen Area when the filming took place.
Saw and stand next to guys like Robert Redford. (during Filming Waalbrug Nijmegen)...very impressive..it still does.. You can imagine a kid from 8 years old and everything was changed into war zone... with german tanks, dakota planes flying over, American, British and German army vehicles... impressive. And the crossing with small boats at the river Waal at Nijmegen. It was on Sunday early in the morning.. Explosion etc... Impressive filming. Small funny thing: when the US tanks cross the Waalbrug Nijmegen, at the back between the smoke layer...you can see a modern traffic light... hahahaha.. Won't forget that in the film.
