    Description

    V3.0 - Made compatible with MSFS2024.  Corrected textures.  Download and install for MSFS2020 and MSFS2024.

    V2.01.1 - Corrected existing textures.  Added new PBR textures.  Cleaned up blender models.  Corrected scale factors.

    V2.01 - Added hand modeled bridges near CYVR

    • Fraser River Bridge
    • Dinsmore Bridge
    • Moray Bridge
    • Middle Arm Bridge

    V2.0 - Updated to reflect changes from World Update 11 Canada.  Removed Lions Gate Bridge, Alex Fraser Bridge and Burrard Bridge models as the WU11 includes these models from GAYA.  For those that do not wish to install WU11, or uninstall WU11, I have retained V1.3 of this file here on flightsim.to for you to download.

    V1.3 - Added hand crafted Golden Ears Bridge near Pitt Meadows Regional.

    V1.2 - Replaced the google based Lions Gate Bridge with hand crafted blender model.  Also added "necklace" light effects.  Also was able to get the vehicle traffic to follow the bridge road.

    V1.1 - Added hand modeled bridges

    V1.01 - Corrected some textures and tweaked some lighting.

    V1.0 - Scenery update for bridges in and around Vancouver, British Columbia Canada.  Includes:

    • Iron Workers Memorial Bridge (and adjacent RR bridge)
    • Lions Gate Bridge

    Amazing thank you for make this, the bridges really bring the lower mainland to life. Will you be updating the Pattullo bridge when it’s built?

    I can confirm as of (02/27/2025) if using this with Samscene Vancouver, FSDT Vancouver and minus the Asobo 3D PG Canada it works fine with the exception of the to bridges leaving Vancouver airport eastward. One has some land under the bridge and the other has some trees under it.

    Just installed the other day, noticed visible land under some but not all of the bridges which I don't see in your screenshots, is this a conflict with another add-on?

    Uninstall the 3D PG Canada cities that Asobo installs it causes this issue. You can do it from within the content manager.

    It seems one of the recent World Updates have really destroyed the bridge situation in Vancouver. With your file, there are now 3 Alex Fraser bridges. Even without your file, some of the bridges are on the water and then above the water (Alex Fraser and Pattullo at least). I haven't checked yet, but the Mission Bridge (up the Valley) was only halfway there last month. I got to take a flight out there to see what it looks like today. Maybe time for an update. Also add Pitt River Bridge as per last comment.

    I only see 1 Alex Fraser bridge in my sim, and that's the one from WU11. Per the change log, I removed my version of the Alex Fraser bridge in favor of WU11's version. I checked all other bridges and everything looks fine.

    Would be nice to add the Pitt River Bridge. Very close to YPK and you already have the nearby Golden Ears. The Pitt River Bridge with the rail bridge is also a dramatic structure.

    The Samscene Vancouver only effects some bridges in the immediate downtown area. Asobo includes the Lion and Granville bridges.
