Description
L’aéroport de La Rochelle - Île de Ré (code AITA : LRH • code OACI : LFBH) est un aéroport français ouvert à la circulation aérienne publique (CAP)1, situé sur la commune de La Rochelle, en Charente-Maritime (région Nouvelle-Aquitaine). Il est utilisé pour le transport aérien national et international, ainsi que pour la pratique d’activités de loisirs et de tourisme.
En 2016, l'aéroport de La Rochelle - Île de Ré était le 6e de la région Nouvelle-Aquitaine en nombre de passagers, derrière l'aéroport de Limoges et devant celui de Poitiers2. 2018 fut une année record avec 240 154 passagers, et 2006 l'année enregistrant la plus forte croissance (+41,9 %).
