Description
L'aéroport de Paris-Orly2 (code AITA : ORY • code OACI : LFPO), couramment abrégé en « aéroport d'Orly », est un aéroport international situé à 10 km au sud de Paris. Il tient son nom de la commune d'Orly dont il occupe une partie du territoire. L'aéroport, ses aérogares et ses pistes sont réparties à cheval entre les départements de l'Essonne et du Val-de-Marne. Il est placé sous l'autorité du préfet du Val-de-Marne3.
Deuxième plate-forme aéroportuaire de France après l'aéroport de Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle, elle a accueilli, en 2018, plus de 33 millions de passagers. L'aéroport était historiquement divisé en deux aérogares principales : le terminal Sud (2 halls d'embarquement) et le terminal Ouest (4 halls d'embarquement) et dispose de trois pistes. En mars 2019, l'appellation des terminaux est modifiée pour y intégrer le bâtiment de liaison, dont la mise en service a lieu le 16 avril suivant. Orly Ouest est divisé en Orly 1 et Orly 2, le nouveau bâtiment de jonction prend le nom d'Orly 3 et Orly Sud devient Orly 44.
Il compte aussi une aérogare de fret et une zone d'entretien. L’aéroport est géré par le groupe ADP et exploité commercialement sous la marque Paris Aéroport depuis le 14 avril 20165.
