    Description


    Moruya Airport (IATA: MYA, ICAO: YMRY) is an airport located 3.5 NM northeast of Moruya, New South Wales, Australia.

    The airport was established in 1942 by the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) as RAAF Base Moruya. Three runways were laid out adjacent to the mouth of the Moruya River. Moruya was home to No. 11 Operational Base Unit to provide support for RAAF aircraft utilising the airfield.

    In 2001, Moruya Airport officially established a Skydiving Centre

    I have not yet created any custom models for this scenery but have tried to capture the overall feel of the airfield. There are still a few minor things to fix but I hope you enjoy it in its current state.

    Hi Dan,

    I am not sure if you will see this as it says it's been a few years since you were active on here. Great little airport. One minor issue is that the taxiway lights are suspended in the air above the taxiways.

    A good interpretation of my local airport, using stock materials and models. I look forward to a closer, more detailed terminal building, perhaps after Sim Update 13 and the Scenery Portal becomes available.

    Hey I've just downloaded it but I'm in a 10 hr flight so I'll put it in later.Well done for having a crack at a scenery.Looks good.I haven't had the nerve to try one of my own yet.LOL.I'll let you know later what it's like for me when I do.

    Thanks mate. I still need to fix some of the taxi lines and spawn points still but hope you enjoy it over the default. It is not too hard to learn the basic stuff. There are some good sdk tutorials by Flying Theston and BenneyBoy444 which go into stuff thats way beyond my abilities but also the basics.
