Description
ENRS - Røst airport.
Røst airport is a regional airport serving Røst Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. The airport is located on the northern edge of the main island of Røstlandet, just north of the main village Røst. Røstlandet island is one of several islands in the Lofoten area. Røst airport is owned and operated by the state-owned Avinor, and the tower is remotely controlled from Bodø. Services are provided by Widerøe, operating Dash 8-100 aircraft on contract with the Ministry of Transport and Communications to Bodø Airport and Leknes Airport.
Package content:
- Custom made buildings and objects.
- Custom made elevation mesh for the main island with 1m resolution.
- Custom made elevation mesh for surronding islands with 3m resolution.
- Custom aerial imagery for the whole area and surrounding islands.
- The airport is made with runway/taxiway lights, leading lights, ground markings etc. as true to life as current information makes possible. If you discover errors, things that can be improved or things that is missing, please notify me so I can fix it for later versions.
This package is large since I had to replace aerial imagery for the entire area due to very bad default imagery. I think the result was worth the disk space.
Installation:
Note! This is a large file (2,12 GB).
Make sure to delete earlier versions if installed. Then, just unpack .zip file and drag scenery folder into the community folder.
