    Description

    Sedona Arizona just does not look right with the massive trees all around it.  At first I decided to make a little file that clears the trees on the runway ends so you can actually land, but it still just didn't look right. So I finally found some time to do a detailed vegetation replacement on the mesa and approach paths.  

    Just unzip sedonatrees and place the train-sedona folder into your community folder.  If updating, delete old folder first, do not overwrite.

    Note: This only modifies the over abundance of large trees and replaces them with trees and a density that makes Sedona look more realistic. The rocks/cliffs/custom 3d models you see in the screenshots are X-Codrs awesome payware Sedona scenery. I HIGHLY recommend you get it for the most realistic and seamless Sedona experience.  X-Codrs Sedona is not needed, it works with out it.  This may work with the free Google Earth photogrammetry but I have not tested it.

    Is this basically fixed to what the mod was trying to do in MSFS2024 or does it still have the same issue?

    I have made a tutorial on how you can do this for your area. In 25 mins you can go from knowing not much to being able to manipulate and obliterate wayward trees and water.

    Arizona always has looked bad flight sims. I wish I could fix it all, but I don't have that time. I also did Phoenix and Tucson. Good video thanks for sharing.

    You shouldn't notice any difference in FPS, they are just vegetation polys.
