    Description

    Updated scenery for Quallcomm Stadium (aka SDCCU Stadium, aka Jack Murphy Stadium) in San Diego CA.  Previous home of the San Diego Padres, San Diego Charger and San Diego State Aztecs.  Removed random trees in and around the stadium.

    V1.1 - Replaced PG trees with 3D closely matching trees

    V1.2 - Additional cleanup and added POI marker

    V2.0 - Made compatible with MSFS2024.  No need to download/install for MSFS2020, but V2.0 works in either sim.

    I went to many events at this old place (it was new when we moved here), but it's gone now, replaced by Snapdragon Stadium, which I definitely would download, and in the future SDSU west campus.

    Hi Freaky! Hey, I don't see the stadium showing up anymore. Is there any way you can fix it? It's such a great addon. I miss it!

    Well this stadium has been replaced with SDSU Snapdragon Stadium....and chance you would like to do Snapdragon?

    Thank you so much for this! Any thoughts about doing Cajon Speedway (next door to KSEE in El Cajon) which closed shortly after I moved here? My wife and in-laws were very close to the racing community and have many fond memories there.

    Is there a possible reason to think this add-on could produce CTDs after SU7?. I had one when loading KSAN today

    Nope, no issue on my system. This package only uses exclusion polygons to remove excess trees.

    Ok, thanks for your answer. Will test again later today, but I wonder why is still not confirmed to be compatible with SU7?.

    That's because I haven't marked it SU7 compatible yet. I have to do that myself, and I have a lot of scenery files, so I don't get around to marking them compatible. Just did on this however.

    Thank you for this scenery! I have been flying IRL around San Diego for years, especially shooting approaches in to KMYF! I have also been a San Diego Chargers season ticket holder for many years with my father. Sadly he passed away in 2019. The Q/Jack Murphy stadium will live on in MSFS!

    I just read that it's being torn down now, December of 2020, with the Chargers moving to LA. Get it for history folks!

    Yep... and my Alma Matter (SDSU) is getting a brand new football stadium next door.
