    Description

    I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SUBSCRIBING TO KEEP UP TO DATE WITH CONFIG.

     

    THINGS TO NOTE:

    THE 'SHOULD' WORK WITH THE LATEST VERSION. IF IT DOES NOT, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!

    Every single stand in this config is now complete! All stands include custom names, sorting & nosewheel stop positions depending on aircraft type.

    As I am working closely with MKVY with this config, everytime MKVY updates the product, it could break the config. If that's the case, I will be quick to fix it.

    TO USE THIS PROFILE THAT USES GSX VDGS, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU DO THE FOLLOWING:
    (If you plan to continue to use the included NoolAero VDGS, SKIP this step)

    1. Locate to MSFS\Community\gatwick\SimObjects\Landmarks folder
    2. Delete the folder named: noolaero VDGS EGKK
    3. That's it!

    If you're still stuck, you can follow this video that MKVY has created: Youtube video
    *(ONLY FOLLOW IT UP UNTIL 25 SECONDS. ANYTHING YOU FOLLOW AFTER MAY MESS UP THE GSX PROFILES)*

    TO INSTALL WITH GSX VDGS:

    1. Locate your %appdata%\roaming\virtuali\GSX\MSFS folder and delete any .ini/.py file with EGKK in the name.

    2. In the same folder, place egkk-mkvy.ini & egkk-mkvy.py in there which is located in the "USING GSX VDGS" folder.

    3. That's it! Go and enjoy!

    TO INSTALL USING THE SCENERY NOOLAERO VDGS:

    1. Locate your %appdata%\roaming\virtuali\GSX\MSFS folder and delete any .ini/.py file with EGKK in the name.

    2. In the same folder, place egkk-mkvy-noolaero.ini & egkk-mkvy.py in there which is located in the "USING NOOLAERO VDGS" folder.

    3. That's it! Go and enjoy!

        - Accurate ground handlers & catering.
        - True to life stands dependant on aircraft sizes.
        - Accurate gate allocation for airlines.
        - True to life pushback procedures. (Including non-standard to assist when simming online).
        - Accurate custom vehicle spawn locations.
        - Custom walk-in gate walkways.
        - Remote de-icing areas according to the charts.
        - Custom nosewheel stop positons depending on aircraft types.
        - Custom parking names & listings on the GSX menu.

    Today, I was at stand 135 and selected pushback facing west, but it pushed me facing east and vise versa. Please correct this little bug, otherwise great!

    Thanks for the work on this huge airport!

    Unfortunately I do not see any pushback routes, when checking the Pushback 2d config window in GSX.

    I have installed the GSX files in the virtuali folder -. same procedure as with other airports. What am I doing wrong?

    Would you consider making a profile for the ini gatwick or do you think the profile included is realistic enough? Thanks

    I would, but I don’t use MSFS2024 yet. Once I move over to that sim, I’ll be working on a profile

    Hello sir! I saw that you said to delete anything EGKK related from MSFS gsx folder. I only have the a320 and a380 profiles for egkk (Nothing for the airport itself. Only for the airplanes ). Should i delete those too?

    Yes that's correct. Otherwise it will conflict with the GSX configs. My config includes everything for 380's and 320's anyway :)

    GSX files don't go into the community folder. You'll need to follow the instructions on the readme or the description.

    Hello,
    I just want to report an exception i got in couatl in FS2024 with the last EGKK version.
    I don't know if it may come from the scenery or this GSX profile so i post it here:

    Hi, regarding this; it looks like a Jetway issue therefore it's a scenery/GSX issue rather than the config :) - GSX is not in control of the jetways in MSFS 2020 or 2024. Best speak to GSX or MKVY themselves :)

    Gates 566 and 561 don't connect the jetway. Basically the jetway is not even moving while GSX shows that jetway is operating! GSX Pro in use. Aircraft used inbuilds A320 Neo v2 .Thank you for the profile!
