Ditto on that Awesome! comment. Great detail work on this old naval air station that has played many roles over the years. Now it is an auxiliary to the Point Magu Naval Air Station KNTD. (right next to KOXR). A fisherman friend of mine was stationed there. He caught halibut off the rocky jetty at the SE corner. This island is off limits to civilians. Those pleasure craft moored to the dock at the south end would be confiscated and used for gunnery practice!
