    ENGK - Arendal/Gullknapp - Image 1

    Description

    Previous status:

Airport had a lot of auto-generated buildings all over the runway because the imagery may have confused the algorithm to think that concrete or asphalt slabs could actually be buildings.

    New version 2021.08.17 (v1.1.0):

    • Removed runway (barnstorming) buildings
    • New apron according to more current aerial photo
    • Taxiway markings
    • 3 parkings and a fuel-box
    • RWY/TWY signs
    • Misc clutter
    • Apron markings
    • Changed RWY approach lights
    • Custom Tower Model
    • Added roads, antenna, buildings and aprons. Changed markings
    • Total cleanup of project
    • Star Airport
    • Compiled for SU5

To my knowledge there are someone working on an updated (different) version of this airport. I have no plans on updating this version, but the project is up for grabs if someone wants to work on it :-)

Beautiful add on. The tower originally stands on a small hill. Do you have any plans to update this airport?

PAPIs are not aligned correctly. Showed 4 whites all the way down the RNP 23 approach, which has a standard 3 degree glideslope.

Great work on this one. Happy to share the tower, and I'll try to improve that model with my old gmax monster if I find more recent pictures.
