"1c5" , Clow Airport, is in Bolingbrook, Illinois, which is a western suburb of Chicago. It also houses a small restaurant called 'Charlie's with an outdoor patio , and an 'Illinois Aviation Museum" and a flight school. Just next to this small airport's parking lot is a small mini-golf course, which i recreated also . This airport is surrounded by industrial warehouses and some commercial lots such as Lowe's and Home Depot. 

I work about 5 mins from here and reside in Chicago, so I really wanted to lovingly recreate this airport as it really is. Since this is my 1st attempt, some things ( like the hangar types and roofs) are not exactly like in real life, but i tried to use the stock hangars in the MFS SDK to get as close to real as possible. 

I also really wanted this airport to feel like it is a living, breathing airport, from people and pilots walking around, to small aircraft parked, to the surrounding area seeming more lifelike, with 3d cars and trucks in the parking lots ( these will be visible when you practice trafic patterns from the single Runway 18/36. 

I also recreated a water tower which is right next to this airport, and is a VFR reference. The original water tower is blue but i dont yet know how to modify textures/ colors in blender.
