Description
PADQ - Kodiak
Most buildings are not replicas. Those that I am attempting at replicating will be added when I feel they are in a deployable spot and updated over time.
Scenery consists of re-texturing the entire airport area. Airport models, buildings, hangars. Even base housing! USCG assets provided in the Kodiak Air Station. Basic signage for FedEx and Alaska Airlines added. These are low res and more signs to come!

Base Game
Have Miramar Airbase installed. This is the base game one.
KNFL - Used some buildings from here as well.
Right now there are only a couple of people added. More to come later. These are models from Daves 3D People. Have that installed if you wish to see them, but not required.
Sim Objects
Twin Otter
Douglas DC-6 PAX for Alaska Airlines - Props to this beautiful A/C for making my pics look good. (pun intended).
Base Game
Parking
Be cautious of the parking spots placed. If you are not familiar with PADQ see map provided in images. There are 2 fueling areas, one med-large parking spot, and a few Small GA parking spots in the Airport area.
Kodiak Airstation has a split of spots for Helo and Fixed Wing.
Notes
Signs for Alaska Airlines and FedEx are added and more to come. I in no way am affiliated or own the logos shown on any objects.
I still have more to do here. Ground Assets will increase along with people and a few painted elements. For now, please enjoy!
A lot of time and money goes into scenery. Though not required, any donations or a note of thanks is greatly appreciated. I take comments very seriously, so if you see anything that can be improved or fixes needed, please leave a comment!

Love this Airport! I like how there's a bunch of parked Coast Guard Aircraft and Rotorcraft as well as boats and ships!

Yeah its been brought up. closest I could narrow it to is the uscg statics but a drop of about 10fps if you get very close. Im on a 4080 and get 100fps around the scenery. I cant remember what it was when I was on a 3070 laptop but I didnt get stutters or anything so im not sure what is causing the issues now. Ill continue to look and see if I can narrow it down. Give me time to investigate.

No worries, if it helps I have a 2080 Super and I get stutters and drops from 60+ to 10-ish fps when I approach from the east

you running any other fps eaters? that is a big drop compared to what I am seeing and what others reported.

My first time commenting on this site and I wanted to say wonderful looking scenery! But sadly, when looking at the hangars of the coast guard my fps drops to 20% of its usual number (only if i get close, like ~100 meters). I saw someone els mentioning this too, has there been any progress in finding out what might be casuing this?

Unfortunately, that would be the coast guard statics which I can't remove right now and would defeat the purpose of this scenery.
A test I did when looking east of the air station I am getting 105fps. when I go to the air station side its 85-90 but I have to get very close. Otherwise, it's about 95fps.

Awesome scenery !

This scenery is beautiful! It actually brings back memories of being stationed there back in 87'. The C130s and the 738 Cutter "Hamilton" are nice additions! It could use a few tweaks, but it looks great.
