Construction crane library

The available models/assets for scenery creation are quite limited when it comes to stuff you would need for creating sceneries with construction sites involved. 2 tower cranes (1 model, 2 liveries) ara available by default.

For those who think this isn't enough diversity (like me) I decided to create a library/asset pack with cranes in various shapes and sizes.

You will get a broad range of fast-erecting cranes, tower cranes, mobile cranes, as well as crawler cranes.

They will come in various hook heights, so you can display them together on bigger constructions sites for example.

The models must be resized with the scenery editor's Gizmo tool (otherwise they will be either way too big or too small). Please see the screenshots attached.

Most of the fast-erecting cranes should be in the scale of around 0.3, most tower cranes 1.1, all the mobile cranes in 0.66 scale and the crawler cranes in a scale of 3.2 (as shown in the screenshots)

I mean obviously you can do whatever you want with them but those figures are highly recommended and should more or less be what they should be.

You can find this library by looking for "chrispiaviation_construction_assets" within the objects section.

Excavator, front loaders as well as construction barriers added (see Screenshot for the correct scaling of the models).

Many tower crane models are fully modular now (optional). Just stack as many tower sections on top of each other until the desired height is reached and put the actual crane with jib on top.

Installation:

Open the downloaded file and place the folder "chrispiaviation_construction_assets" inside the community folder.
