    Description

    The walled medieval city of Lucca, Tuscany in its entirety. Ever in the shadow of nearby Florence, Lucca ran its own show as an independent republic for the better part of 500 years between the relinquishment of German rule in Italy in the 12th century and the Napoleonic Wars at the end of the 18th. It was one of the last surviving Italian republics in the age of the territorial prince or the signori (vaguely 15th to 19th centuries), the others being Genoa, Venice and San Marino to list a couple.

    Veramente bellissimo e suggestivo, abitando vicino posso confermare che è come volare lì intorno per davvero e la qualità della fotogrammetria è molto alta nel gioco, tutto ciò a scalpito di una perdita di FPS talmente elevata che rende ingiocabile la simulazione, anche con un PC potente come il mio con una RTX 4070TI, i5 14600KF, e 32 GB di ram tutto su SSD NVME ultra rapido, gli FPS calano già dall'aeroporto di tassignano infatto mi è stato difficile atterrare lì, mi sono fatto tante belle foto comunque, grazie

    Hi, this os one of my favorite scenery addons - I've visited Lucca, and fell in love with the walled city. I just want to know whether, or when, you are going to update it for SU 5.

    It runs nice and the level of detail is high, but the problem is that there is ZERO blending with the MSFS scenery : completely different colour AND no effort to blend the surroundings, so it looks like a bugged bright rectangle from any distance that isn't 10 ft in the streets of Lucca. Sadly in this state it's not really usable! Please, make it merge more with the surroundings, have it gradually go into MSFS default items, rather than be a straight line.

    Magnificent! Good good!!!! Too bad there isn't a helicopter to appreciate your work even better !!! Are you also planning the island of Giglio? If you want I have many photos and videos ....

    @Wesjuh I'll come back to it when I can. I'm still trying to figure out which colour settings work best. I think I'm getting there. Just gotta lower the brightness settings a bit more and up the yellows and greens a tad bit.

    When being high in the sky you can see a tile of different colored scenery being more blue-ish. Are you planning on updating the coloring of the textures anytime? The city looks superb!

    @Claudius I've fixed night lights for Lucca in the last update and I've made sure they appear in every city but Siena. There is room for improvement but it is very laborious. Personally I am quite satisfied with the way things are (except Siena) and I am focused on bringing us even more cities.

    @IlParaCapo Hi, I have also noticed that the Torre Guinigi is somehow missing its top, and that the night lights are partially hidden under the mesh. I will fix this when I have the time for it, but i am quite satisfied with it for now. Siena coming up next btw.

    @RazorRay Hi again, I try your last version of Lucca, but now the Guinigi Tower it's disappeared. The other things are better, except tha lights that can'll be better. Good job for now. I hope you'll make other Tuscany cities soon (Pisa,Viareggio, Siena, Pistoia, Prato, San Gimignano, etc.) Bye!

    @RazorRay here everything is fine. students have disappeared its true. but there are countries that are much more dangerous than italy. since the beginning of covid "only" 600 cases in Prato. in the last day

    @slasko79 I'm Australian btw. How are things in Prato? i do want to come back to visit one day. My supervising professor tells me that ever since covid hit, and all the uni students from Monash and New Haven left, the city has been awfully quiet. How's everyone there coping?
