    Description

    UPDATE V1.1 has fixed the major terraforming issues of previous updates. Entire airport is usable at this time. 

    UPDATE V1.2 has added more textures to terminal area and small reworks.

    UPDATE V1.3 rework of Fire Station. Sign of life that project is still alive!

    UPDATE V1.4 Interior of Terminal Wings and Tower was added! We are still here!

    Information About KPIT:

    Pittsburgh International Airport (IATA: PIT, ICAO: KPIT, FAA LID: PIT), formerly Greater Pittsburgh International Airport, is a civil–military international airport in Findlay Township and Moon Township, Pennsylvania. Located about 10 miles (15 km) west of downtown Pittsburgh, it is the primary international airport serving the Greater Pittsburgh Region as well as adjacent areas in West Virginia and Ohio. 
    The airport is owned and operated by the Allegheny County Airport Authority and sees numerous flights a day to destinations throughout North America. KPIT has four runways and covers 10,000 acres (4,000 ha).

    Known Issues-
    Please be aware that there are bumps throughout. Mainly 28R, November Taxiway between 28R and 14, and the Taxiway between 14 and De-ice pad. There are still limitations with the SDK, especially with angled taxiways. Will keep trying to fix!

    Installation-

    Simply copy both included folders (PFS-kpit-pittsburgh & projectflightsim-vehicleassets) into your community folder.

    This is a Beatuiful Airport, I came in on ILS 10L with no issues, as other commenters have stated the big thing for me is the bumpy runways and missing taxi signs

    This is a good scenery, however, in the ADE, there are ZERO runways or mainly taxiways for AI traffic...why is that?

    Just wondering, If you can possibly add in some taxiway signs, I didn't see any on my taxi in. I'll look again when I fly out but I didn't see any on taxi in from RWY 32 which is the RWY I landed on tonight.. 7/22/2024

    I never made it here. Either this airport or Fenix screwed me on the approach on ILS32. My Navigraph flight plan descended me way too late so I tried a go-around and the aircraft went haywire, the autopilot would not come back on and the aircraft was pretty much uncontrollable. So is it this airport or is it Fenix that caused this? I did the go-around procedure correctly.

    Hi, you have Navigraph charts too, I'm not sure what arrival you were on, I was on Jersey4 Arrival & at Cutta you need to be 10,000 then if you look on ILS 32 @ GRUNZ 6,000 FT, Then I just took it to bottom 2500 by Triny & let it ride all the way down. I took over once on final approach.. No issues. Now I did have the 737 700 tonight, but if you figured in FMS on Airbus, for those alt's at those points it should of been the same in the bus.. Give it another try, I'm sure you'll get it.. Virtual United Pilot

    I've just experienced something similar in the Fenix a319 with this scenery. Luckily I read this comment prior to the flight so I was able to notice the slow descent and make up for it. Were you able to resolve this? I think it is a Fenix thing

    Version History

    Noticed a small issue with a black box being present on the 28R side of the terminal. This has been fixed. Also various unseen model faces and vertexes have been removed to hopefully improve performance for those using high-fidelity aircraft such as the Fenix A320. This update is not necessary for use, but is a quick fix for the random polygon visual bug.
