Fictional repaint of the Headwind A330-900neo in the 171st Air Refueling Wing, Pennsylvania Air National Guard livery. Also includes MRTT specific interior textures for seats and floor!

This repaint coincides with the ProjectFlightSim Pittsburgh International Project where the 171st Air Refueling base can be found.

This is meant to mimick the MRTT project of Airbus and Lockheed that was cancelled as the USAF decided to go with the KC-46 instead.

The Airbus A330 Multi Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) is an aerial refuelling tanker aircraft based on the civilian Airbus A330. A total of 12 nations have placed firm orders for approximately 60 aircraft, of which 46 had been delivered by 30 November 2020. A version of the A330 MRTT, the EADS/Northrop Grumman KC-45, was proposed to the United States Air Force for its aerial tanker replacement program and selected, but the program was cancelled.

To Install 171st ANG MRTT exterior textures, copy the "Headwind_A339_NEO_171st MRTT V2.0" folder into your community folder.
C:\Users\****\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages\Community\

To Install MRTT interior textures, copy all contents of the "MRTT Interior Textures" folder into the following folder and overwrite.
C:\Users\****\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages\Community\headwind-aircraft-a330-900\SimObjects\Airplanes\Headwind_A330neo\texture

All of these military repaints are good. Hopefully one day, someone like MAIW might use these to make bases look right again, like in FS9/FSX. I miss those old bases and the AI flying training missions.

This is an awesome aircraft model! I also have issues. I extracted it, and placed it in the community folder but it doesn't show in MFS (I already have the Headwind A330 installed). Appreciate any help.

Edit: found the issue. Apparently I messed up the folder structure that I compiled into the Zip. This will be fixed tonight for the next update. Again, my apologies.

Nice work! I was with the 171st as a boomer for years before switching over to big sexy (KC-10). Would love to see a McGuire skin for the KC-45.
