Sad that it has come to this point :-(
Hello flightsim.to community,
today I would like to share you my point of view regarding to the v1.1 announcement by Captain Sim (CS). I want to clarify that I don't have any contact to CS or get any profit out of CS's sales for making this project for you. This is one of the reason I don't want to support the way these products (variants) are priced anymore. Currently all B777 and B767 for MSFS are priced $29.99 each. Which is too high for me to get only a 3D-Model which isn't accurate enough to work with (I figure it out during my WASM implementation). And I still don't mentioned those missing animation for interior buttons or even the spoiler bug which is still an issue for people who are not using the compatibility mod. I think CS will also target those new product at that price point. In my opinion not fair to pay $29.99 (x4 = 119.96) for all the variants I'm making a modification for. Just imagine how much I and also YOU have to pay for just be able to use this mod.
My last update for this project would be the flight model rework for all available model at this point of writing (Upcoming v3.0.0 release). The WASM development with help from other devs will be continued, but I will never release it into CS product lines. WASM development will be my personal training.
I will continue share you some screenshot on Discord from the state of development of the WASM based system to keep you informed
Thanks for using this modification and hopefully I can get a true open source plane at some point.
Best regards
Rob - masterrob94
PS: I would be happy to have a good 3D-Model (It doesn't need to look perfect) for an open source project. Just send me a PM, then I will give you more details how to connect the 3D-Model into the sim.
