Description
Photogrammetry of Taranto, located in Apulia, Italy.
It is characterised by three natural peninsulas and a man-made island, formed by digging a ditch during the construction of Aragon Castle.
The city is known as the "city of two seas".
The Big Sea is frequently known as the Big Sea bay as that is where ships harbour. It is separated from the Little Sea by a cape which closes the gulf, leading to the artificial island. This island formed the heart of the original city and it is connected to the mainland by the Ponte di Porta Napoli and the Ponte Girevole.

nel primo RAR principale TarantoCentro trovi una sola cartella 'Taranto Photogrammetry', ma devi scaricare anche il secondo RAR TarantoPeriferia che contiene altre 4 cartelle, poi devi mettere tutte le 5 cartelle nella dir Community, fammi sapere se riesci!

Molto bello certamente ma il f/r crolla da 40 a 12: impossibile da utilizzare. Inoltre è troppo grosso e il sim ci mette una vita a caricarlo. Possibile che non si riesca ad alleggerirlo significativamente?

Sto rilasciando (entro domani max) un upgrade che dovrebbe ottimizzare al massimo sia i tempi di caricamento che il framerate, comunque per il f/r considera che la fotogrammetria impone al simulatore il caricamento di una marea di poligoni e texture. Come si dice in inglese, ..stay tuned e spero che la nuova versione rispecchi le aspettative!

Complimenti vivissimi, ottima qualità! Noto anch'io un rallentamento del PC in fase di avvio del simulatore, ma per un voletto ogni tanto si può facilmente installare i file necessari solo quando servono. Pensi di integrare con Tamburi, in futuro? Perché il resto della città sarebbe sufficientemente completo, da Magna Grecia a Punta Penna. Grazie ancora, bel lavoro, 5 stelle meritate in pieno! :)

Ciao e grazie per i complimenti, ho messo molta cura a integrare lo scenario con quello di default (e questo è anche il motivo per cui mi sono fermato al ponte di pietra senza fare i Tamburi). Quanto alla durata del caricamento iniziale, sto risolvendo, ho già ridotto notevolmente le dimensioni dello scenario senza intaccare la qualità, ma prima di mettere online un upgrade sto facendo altri test.

Bel addon..pero' peccato tolto subito perche solo questo addon fa impiegare al sim il doppio del solito caricamento iniziale..dai miei soliti 4 minuti ad 8 minuti..sai dirmi qualcosa!! o qualche soluzione??grazie..

il mio pc carica lo scenario in pochi secondi, ma tieni presente che ho la dir community installata su un hard disk SSD NVMe e forse questo fa la differenza..

inizialmente pensavo ti riferissi al tempo di caricamento del volo dalla mappa del mondo (quello dura pochi secondi) ma poi ho capito che ti riferivi al caricamento iniziale e ti confermo che ho notato anche io il rallentamento, subito dopo il controllo aggiornamenti: farò alcune prove e se riesco a risolvere rilascerò un aggiornamento. Comunque il problema rimane isolato al caricamento iniziale, poi il gioco va alla solita velocità

I think you've skipped a step in the scenery making process; the final scenery isn't supposed to be split into more than 100 thousand separate files; it has to be consolidated and then it won't take as long to load.

ho appena messo online un aggiornamento che riduce notevolmente files e dimensioni, ho testato anche il tempo di caricamento iniziale, ora ci mette 5 minuti e mezzo, si potrebbe ulteriormente migliorare pacchettizzando le texture, se riesco rilascerò un ulteriore upgrade, ..ciao!

Hello and thanks for appreciation. For now i don’t plan to make a Brindisi scenary, …i concentrate efforts to optimize my Taranto scenery!
