    There is now a world update 3 optimised version called this is Manchester.

    *** This patch (2.0) brings Manchester P2 scenries into line with P1
    *Expands Trafford Park across water
    *Contains various fixes and improvements including some added lighting
    * Further improves on terraforming to showcase/blend scenery and improve traffic flow. 
    * Includes fix for Skell300-superspuds-barton-aerodrome-scenery & Barton improvements

    The scenery is designed to provide a good VFR flight from EGCB up to the city.
    The complete sceneries include Manchester city centre, Spinning Fields, Etihad stadium complex, Old Trafford football Ground, cricket ground and immediate area, some of Salford Quays, Trafford park, The Trafford Centre and local Barton (EGCB) landmarks all with custom night lighting and LOD's for performance.


    Installation
    Replace the original files if you have a previous version and add Traddord Park 3 folder. Also now contains the lighting mod which you only need it if you don't already have it. All folders go into the MFS2020 Communtiy folder. Folders are Barton, Trafford Centre, Trafford Park, Trafford Park 2. Trafford Park 3, Old Trafford, Salford Quays, Lighting Mod.

    The latest MSFS update seems to have returned the scenery for Barton Airfield to default. The mods for the control tower and hanger with the sloping roof don't show now.

    I believe EGCB is now an Asobo included airport and it looks great so if you are getting default scenery check inside MFS to see if you have any scenery updates.

    With that you should not need any Barton airport mod.

    Great work - The other 2 packs work perfectly and look great, however this one seems to be totally white, for me at least, not sure if that's a result of new FS updates?

    That sounds like a conflict of some sort.
    Do you have any other custom folders other than mine?
    If so you could try temporarily moving them to see if that resolves the issue.

    There is a new UK update coming later in Jan so I will be revisiting these sceneries after that to see what needs to be changed but currently I don't have any conflicts.

    Just yours, at night, it's fine however. I'll just remove the offending piece for now. No worries and look forward to future revisions!

    That is strange because I have not had any other reports and mine works fine.
    Did you update to the last MFS2020 patch without first removing custom scenery from your Community Folder as it is said that can cause some issues.

    Is it all the scenery from Manchester P2 that is missing textures or just part of it?
    You could check inside the scenery folder and see if the textures are okay and not corrupted.
    That would be inside your community folder and then a scenery specific folder and .../scenery/mycompany/TEXTURE

    You could try deleting the old folders and redownloading I guess.

    Was a fresh install. Like I say no worries, it's clearly something my end. The others work and that's fine by me.

    Well I'm sorry this doesn't work for you and it would be good to know why.
    I do know there is a bug in the current MFS build that causes glitches in the terrain but that doesn't affect this scenery for me.

    Thanks for the info and we will see what happens when they drop the UK world update and I revisit these sceneries.

    Thanks Mucka ,stunning as usual ! I am starting to get used to your system of separate folders and it works really, really well ! I only ask that you keep them all named exactly the same in future versions 5/5 ,any chance of adding a little folder called Irlam ??? pretty please x

    LOL you are persistent I will give you that.
    I try to select areas that 1. Hopefully many people will download to make the work worthwhile and 2. that have good VFR landmarks or architecture. (not putting Irlam down, my dear Gran & Grandad lived there)
    If I find the spare time I may see what I can (just for you)

    I just this minute released P3 which includes Cheetham Hill and and greatly extends the city scenery along with some more Salford Quays.

    nah ,its laright mate ,just looking at part 3 now ,super! love the extension of trafford park p2 showing the bridges etc.

    Appears to cause a CTD when loading. There is a duplicate file warnings, (Business.JASON etc.) when placing the 2 packages into one folder.

    Many thanx for your help. I have the scenery working however, if I try and use it with an airliner it crashes. I think it's too much form my i7-2600K to cope with. It looks fantastic. I have the scenery in a separate folder and use 'Linker' application available on this website. Perhaps this is the problem? UPDATE: I think a weather pre-set from 'Weather Pre-set Pro' has been causing a conflict. If I select 'Live Weather' I can load the scenery!

    Each folder from the zip should be placed separately into your Community folder.
    Putting them inside another folder together will not work.
    Ensure you don't have other custom scenery that conflicts.

    I am considering making a condensed version so that there are fewer scenery folders but other users like to have the flexibility of choosing which folders they want.

    Perhaps I will make it an alternative upload in future.
