Is there anything that can be done about the cutoff in the lake southwest of Universal?

This mod seems to be redundant in newer versions of MSFS. I'm using WU7 and SU8 and found that a) there is a very conspicuous and ugly transition where the scenery area overlays the default scenery; b) the scenery caused substantial loss of FPS and stutters (I was playing in VR); c) the default scenery now has pretty good photogammetry covering the whole area (similar in detail to this mod) so this mod is not recommended.

Not working for me, ive reinstalled but the entire texture area is pink. im also using it with google map replacement mod fyi
