Description
The first - out of upcoming six packages - contains points of interest in the Southern region of Baden-Württemberg (BW), Germany, around Lake Constance.
The models are released under contract with State Office for Monumental Preservation at Stuttgart Regional Council (www.denkmalpflege-bw.de). All models provided have been created by using photogrammetry which represent the geometry and textures in high level of detail.
For version 1.0.0, the following points of interests have been adapted for MSFS 2020 and integrated into the package.
Altbodman Castle (location)
- The Altbodman Castle, also spelled Alt-Bodman, is a high medieval castle ruin southeast of Bodman in the municipality of Bodman-Ludwigshafen in the district of Konstanz in Baden-Württemberg in Germany.
Hohenkraehen Castle (location)
- The castle Hohenkrähen is a high medieval hilltop castle in Mühlhausen-Ehingen near Singen in the district of Konstanz in Baden-Württemberg , Germany.
Hohentwiel Fortress (location)
- The fortress Hohentwiel is a former hilltop castle and fortress on the volcanic source crest of Hohentwiel in Hegau, close to the Lake Constance. The rocks tower over the town of Singen , located at the eastern foot of the mountain, by 260 meters. With an area of nine hectares , the fortress, which is accessible to visitors, is the largest castle ruin in Germany.
Maegdeberg Castle (location)
- The castle Mägdeberg is a medieval castle ruins 1.5 km southwest of Muhlhausen-Ehingen in the district of Konstanz in Baden-Württemberg , Germany.
Waldburg Castle (location)
- The Waldburg is the ancestral seat of the dynasty of the Waldburg family and imperial princes. Dating back to the 12th century and stands on the district of the municipality of Waldenburg in the district of Ravensburg in Upper Swabia.

The well-known fortress ruins on the Hegau volcanoes Hohentwiel, Hohenkrähen and Mägdeberg I look again more closely with the Airbus H135 helicopter on a balmy summer evening, shortly before sunset. The light installation around the walls of the ruins of the Mägdeberg caught my eye especially positively, would certainly also be an eye-catcher in reality.

Are you aware of the existing Swabian Castles mod? https://flightsim.to/file/8807/swabian-castles It would be very nice if your upcoming mods would not conflict with it in case you will not cover all of them. Maybe you guys can even collaborate.
