Description
This package contains eight castles of the German state of Baden Württemberg. Most of these are located in the greater Swabia area.
The following photogrammetry models are included:
- Teck Castle
- Hohenneuffen Castle
- Hohenurach Castle
- Sigmaringen Castle
- Hohenzollern Castle
New in V5:
- Reussenstein Castle
- Lichtenstein Castle
- Waldburg Castle
The following has been implemented:
- Eight photogrammetric models of the castles
- Models have 3 levels of details for performance optimization
- Emissive texture implemented to show lighting at night.
- Landmarks for each castle marked on the world map
- Color adaptation to the surroundings
- Adaptation of the terrain to real heights and addition of missing hills
The creator and partner for the raw data of these models is the Landesamt für Denkmalpflege im Regierungspräsidium Stuttgart (LAD BW) represented by Christoph Steffen and Markus Steffen.

Die neue Version 5.0 ist super. Die Sichtbarkeit von Burg Teck ist nun wirklich von weitem toll! Schön ist auch die Ruine Reussenstein. Beides ganz toll für VFR!
Nicht ganz glücklich bin ich allerdings mit Burg Lichtenstein. Die ist bereits in der Scenery 'Project Reutlingen' von fra320 vorhanden. Deine Version ist zwar umfassender und detailreicher, die andere ist dafür klarer und größer. Vielleicht sogar etwa zu groß - aber als VFR-Punkt sehr gut.
Könntest Du Deine Burg Lichtenstein-Variante vielleicht als Option gestalten? Dann könnte man mal das eine, mal das andere 'anfliegen'. Das wäre genial!

Nebenbei: Was ich im Simulator schmerzlich vermisse sind Kirchen in Deutschland. Geht bestimmt Vielen so. Das brauchen eigendlich auch nur generierte sein. Städte ohne Kirchen sehen einfach nicht vollständig aus.
