Description
Bundaberg, YBUD Regional Airport is situated in the Burnett region around 300kms north of Brisbane. It is a rich agricultural region which deals mostly in sugar cane, Macadamia nuts. It is also home of the Bundaberg rum distillery. The airport is serviced by Qantaslink and Virgin Airlines which services Brisbane to and from in DH4 aircraft, While the RFDS has one of its 9 bases in Bundaberg. It also has a good general aviation area which does training, charter flights and air shows.
