    Version 1.3

    Adds more parking spots.

    Improved detail of terminal building. and Connel Flying Club.

    Some extra sporting action on the water.

     

    Version 1.2

    Fully compatible with SU4.

    Adds comprehensive detail to North Ledaig Caravan Park on the approach to runway 19.

    A bit of water sport is added at various points around the airfield.

    Some other additions have been made to tidy up area.

     

     

    Version 1.1

    Adds perimeter fencing with emergency gates.

    Adds extra detail to the area at the south of the airfield including custom made buildings populating the village of North Connel and a basic model of the Connel Bridge.

     

    Version 1.0

    A detailed version of the airfield area with redrawn ground detail and custom models added.  A later version should add the immediate surrounds,  such as the caravan park on approach to runway 19 and the village of North Connel.

    The airfield is run by Argyll & Bute Council and is situated some 9 kilometers north-east of the town of Oban.

    The airfield is busy with GA traffic but also has scheduled passenger services to the nearby islands of Coll, Colonsay, Tiree and Islay.

    Thanks for this, the caravan park is very immersive!

    Is there an easy way to disable the new bridge this adds? This conflicts with Orbx north and duplicates the bridge on top of each other.

    If you prefer to have the Orbx version then an exclusion would be required to remove the Scotflight version. Otherwise an exclusion within the Scotflight scenery could exclude the Orbx version.

    This is beautiful, many thanks.

    My only issue is the patch of incredibly luminous grass at 56.4658994, -5.3987483. I'm not sure if it's a system issue on my end but I'm getting a new PC in a couple of days so I'll test it again then.

    Nice scenery. Just uploaded the new update. But I don't know why you only have a few parking spots and they all are Dock type (which is actually meant for floatplanes!). Looking at pictures and satellite images there should be much more parkings available... Windows are not reflective and textures are mostly quite basic. But it's a good start!

    Airfield layout and buildings would be okay. Not sure about models for the outdoor displays on the museum site at East Fortune.

    Hi Scotflight
    Thanks for your recent Oban upload, which looks fantastic. I've downloaded a few of your airports and they are all wonderful. I've been lucky enough fly in and out of a lot of them over the years and flying them in MSFS certainly brings back the memories. My most memorably flight was from Tingwall to Fair Isle , flown by an ex-Tornado pilot who said he preferred the DHC to the Tornado!
    Any chance of doing Fair Isle sometime?

    Your comments are much appreciated. Fair Isle I am not sure about, it's getting the time. There are some versions about that might perhaps work in MSFS2024.
