    Description

    "Horse Capital of the World"  Ocala Florida is the home of Ocala International Jim Taylor Field (KOCF). 

    Ocala is located within a 2 hour drive from Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville and Daytona.  It is a small town compared to Orlando, but the airport is typically busy with GA aircraft and private jets.  Many come here to learn how to fly.

    In this version, using Blender, I've created virtually every building and hangar located at the airport.  Some hangars are open so you can get out of the weather or bright sunshine.  Many of the textures came directly from the actual buildings.

    The Sheltair terminal is (mostly) complete on the inside and you won't be dissapointed in the eye candy.  The airport sign is animated and scrolls through several ads.  The flag reacts appropriately to the wind direction and speed.  Dynamic lighting is replicated throughout the airport.  Taxiways and signage are correct per the actual airport taxi diagrams.  

    This will most likely be a work in progress, but there isn't much more I can add to enhance it.  Arriving by air, you would swear you were actually flying into Ocala!  If you see N264TB flying around, that's me!

    Simply unzip and place in your Community folder.  Remove ALL previous versions or any KOCF airports prior to using this one.

    THIS VERSION IS FOR MSFS 2024 ONLY   T is a MSFS 2020 version available.

    Spectacular detail! Just an amazingly thorough job. Definitely payware quality. Thanks much for this!

    The only thing I could even think of to add more detail would be the tower interior, but seriously, if you're in your plane you don't need to be looking up there anyway. :)

    Awesome. But either way, just fantastic. I'd have never noticed the tower wasn't populated except there was so much amazing detail in your airport that I went into drone cam and started poking around everywhere. :) This is really a work of art; thank you again for sharing this as freeware!

    Fantastic in 2020 and great to see this in 2024, thank you so much for your efforts. I ended up not starting my PPL while in FL, but was looking forward to visiting this airport after learning about it on here funny enough!
