    Description

    EGPD Aberdeen-Dyce

    This is a detailed enhancement of the default version of this airport with many custom-made models replacing the default and many others added.  Extensive work has been carried out to enhance the ground elements of the airfield.

    This bustling airport provides domestic and international flights as well as the North Sea oil and gas industry,  resulting in a high level of helicopter traffic.

    Some models added may pop-up at quite close range and this is something that hopefully might improve as MSFS2024 is improved.

    The helicopter models scattered around the airfield are the work of John Young and thanks to him for granting permission to use them.

    Thanks also to Superspud and trfsto for the libaries they have made available.

    The Helipad at the Babcock apron that SCAA uses has a static s-92 placed. Could it be removed and the helipad be turned into a helipad that you can start a flight from, either cold and dark or running whichever is easiest. Would be nice to use the apron properly when flying the H145 in Random and Anywhere HEMS missions

    I'm not sure how to handle a MSFS 2020-only dependency for a MSFS 2024 add-on. Do you put the Windy Things package in the 2024 or 2020 Community folders or both?

    I would say it should go in both if you plan to use both simulators at various times.
    If you are only concerned with MSFS2024 then it only needs to be in it's Community folder.

    I´m not interested in animated humans nor moving vehicles.
    Does tha scenery work without those or I´ll have some kind of kinky result?

    If you are suggesting leaving out the recommended libaries then I would still expect the scenery to work. You might still see animated vehicles and humans.
