    Description

    Ingolstadt Manching Airfield, or Fliegerhorst Ingolstadt/Manching in German (IATA: IGS, ICAO: ETSI), is a military airbase with civil usage located in Manching near Ingolstadt, Germany. 

    The airfield is home to the Bundeswehr Technical and Airworthiness Center for Aircraft (Wehrtechnische Diesnststelle 61). The first flights of the Panavia Tornado and Eurofighter prototypes took place here. The F-104G Starfighter and the F-4 Phantom II fighter aircraft were flown here testing weapons systems in the 1960s, 70s and 80s. During the Space Shuttle missions it was considered as a landing site for Transoceanic Abort Landings.

    Airbus Defence and Space also has its headquarter here. Manching is now a key center for Airbus' military air systems activity in Germany including the support of Luftwaffe aircraft and the German final assembly line of the Eurofighter Typhoon.

    - etsi-manching-aerial
    - etsi-manching-airport-FS2024
    - etsi-manching-airport-FS2020 (not updated any longer)

    Note: MSFS 2020 version is not supported any longer !!!

    No, for MSFS 2024 only the 2024 package has to be installed.

    Es gibt ja noch eine (nicht ganz so) kleine Gemeinde der ewiggestrigen FS2020-Jünger, die aus unterschiedlichsten Gründen nicht zum MSFS2024 wechseln möchten. Einer davon bin ich. ETSI war als Military-Airport eines meiner wichtigeren Addons. Und nun habe ich es geschafft, mit dem letzten Update ETSI für mich unbrauchbar zu machen. Alt raus, neu rein. Und zack....nachvollziehbare CTDs, wenn man auch nur in die Nähe von ETSI kommt. Bestätigt von Freunden, die sich auch unmittelbar nach dem Start eines Fluges auf dem Desktop wiederfinden.

    Ja, klar, man hätte ja auch vorher lesen können, dass der Support für die 2020-Version eingestellt ist. Aber jetzt ist ETSI anscheinend unrettbar für mich verloren. Habe es gerade aus meinem Bestand gelöscht. Sehr schade!

    Warum ist denn die 2020-Version komplett verschwunden? Hätte man die nicht parallel stehen lassen können?

    Super! Mittlerweile habe ich festgestellt, dass das Problem auch alle anderen Scenerys betrifft, für die Du ein Update ab Mitte Februar hochgeladen hast.

    Könnten wir bitte auch da die 20er Version beibehalten? Muss ja nicht weiterentwickelt werden.

    The Download of the Update was not a good solution for me, because it does not longer performe in the FS2020. I did not realize your advwise in red letters, that the update is only a 2024er version. Now it is causing CTD in the FS2020. The end of the story: Now I have ETSI not longer in my SIM, because the old version was deleted by the new one. What a pity. Is there a chance to get back the older version?

    Thanks for this really nice scenery and would love to see it updated further!
    One issue I have is that it completely kills the navigraph navdata for ETSI in FS2024- only the runways are remaining but all procedures are gone incl. the ILS - visible in the EFB or any aircraft that uses the sim navdata as source (Beluga, etc.).
    EDIT: After tweaking around a bit more and moving both navigraph entries with the package reorder tool to the bottom of the list, now the procedures are back - no idea yet if this will have other unwanted effects tho... The ILS itself is still gone.

    Servus. Ich bin aktuell auf Praktikum in der Feuerwache von Manching und habe gesehen das ein paar Dinge am Flugplatz nicht wie im Original sind. Hättest du Interesse an einem Update? Ich würde versuchen ein paar Bilder zu machen

    Hallo, vielen Dank für die Szenerie von Manching. Ich habe seit ein paar Tagen das Problem, das die ILS Frequenzen von ETSI (aber auch ETSN, EDMA, EDMO, LICZ etc) und anderen MODS plötzlich nicht mehr in der VFR Karte erscheinen und auch nicht vom Flugzeug erkannt werden. Kennen Sie dieses Phänomen? Gruß Arthuro
