    I really like your scenery, well done so far.
    What i like less are the textures of the C-17 in the turtletank kit. Too shiny, that´s not how military paint should look like.
    But at least some "life" at the apron.

    I´s a pitty that there is no military traffic possible anymore.
    All the developers died out while FSX and P3D had their time.
    I would really appreciate it if there would be a new group like MAIW back in the FS9 days, that resurrect decent military models.

    It's hard to find licence free static aircraft models. The 'shiny' C-17 is not from TurtleTank but from Sketchfab.com with a CC BY 4.0 licence as well as the closed C-17.
    The U.S. Military Aircraft Kit contains good looking C-17s and C-5s, but I cannot use them because they vanish at very short viewing distance (would lead to next complaint). I adressed that at the creator but without reponse.
    As I have access to the open door C-17 3-D model, I made it less shiny a bit. Just download the scenery again. It's a 'silent' update, not worth making a new version for that (version updates for neglegible changes lead to complaints again).
    I fully agree to you last statement on the 'good old times', but I try to make.

    Nice work but I would appreciate it if you could totally remove the E3s couse they normally dont operate there. They visit this airport like max. 1 time per year. Overall could you remove some planes cause I have been to ETAR some times in real life and there are not this many planes there.

    Hello, thanks for your comment. I will rework the static aircraft in any case very soon. May be I'll leave only one E-3.
    However, have a look on the latest Google-Earth sat image of ETAR (of April 2026). There are double as many C-17s as in my scenery. ETAR is very busy during these days .... for certain reasons.

    I love this scenery, along with some of your other military base scenery. And thank you for removing the 747. But I have a problem. I've ensured I have all 3 dependencies enabled but I still see pink (missing texture) electrical towers and radio masts everywhere. This photo is looking north, but I see it to the south as well since there is a high voltage electrical line running between Ramstein and Landstuhl. Are these by chance items you've added? Is there anything you recommend I install to try to fix this?

    Hello, thanks for your comment. The pink things definitely are not part of the secenery nor are they part of one of the 'dependencies'. E.g. Turtletank only provides some airport items as runway distance markers.
    May be in your configuration there is a conflict, e.g. with old MSFS 2020 addons or so. To me it rather looks you have to de-install something.

    Yeah, I was just logging in to try to tell you that it is somethiing other than your scenery. I turned off ETAR and reloaded in the default ETAR and the problem still remains. I'll have to look at other culprits. Thanks for looking onto it though! :-)

    If anyone out there finds they have the same problem, I learned it’s not the ETAR scenery. It’s caused by problems with Aerosoft’s Rhineland-Phaltz scenery.

    anybody else expirences C-5 without engines? ALL other AC from the library are fine.

    Could you remove the Delta 747 as Delta does not have them anymore? Maybe there is Atlas Air available

    Great work, I was long waiting for this.
    There seems to be an issue with the C-17s though ... at least in my installation. C-5s are fine.
