This is a new GSX Pro Profile for the Bahrometrix - Regional Airport Dortmund found here

The main feature of this profile is the ability to push back to stands 5-12 as in real life.

Instructions for use:

1.After landing

Taxi towards the yellow push in taxi line (the one between taxiway M and the stands)

Choose the pushin position of your stand either facing west or east depending on which runway you landed on.  For example, if you landed on 24 you would be taxiing facing East.  Stop at the marshaller's intsructions, set parking brake, turn off engines but keep beacon and seatbelts on. Choose pushback and select your stand and aircraft type.  The tug will push you in the stands relevant stop position.  After push is completed you will be instructed to set parking brake.  Set parking brake and choose "Abort pushback" or "interrupt pushback".  Dont choose "stop here and complete puhshback" because GSX will think you are departing and will not give you choice to deboard, so you would have to reposition in order to continue.  Now that you are set at the stand correctly, you can turn off seatbelts and beacon and continue with deboarding

2.Before departure

Start engines at the stand and taxi out straight ahead

 

note1.  For the push in stands I have chosen the towbar truck so as to avoid having the towbarless slam you down when you abort the pushback

note2. The push in taxiway is next to a service road, some vehicles travel randomly and they can cross your path.  You can get rid of these vehicles by deleting the content or renaming the folder "bahrometrix-dortmund-airport-edlw\modules"

note3. Stands 0,1,2,3,4 normal pushback (on Taxiway L)

note4. Jetways on stands 3 and 4 don't work so I placed the stop positions a bit back to make space for the front stairs.  Avoid these stands if you fly a longer than A320 aircraft

note5. Stands 3 and 4 APIS VDGS

note6. In order to create the push positions I had to use the stands on the western buildings, so you can't park there with this profile (higly unlikely you would want to anyway)

Fenix2GSX users.  Important***  If you departure is EDLW it would be better to set the auto reposition time to about 5 seconds so as to have time to choose your stand first (GSX might not be able to read you at the position you are so you have to choose manually)

Please remember to delete any other EDLW profile you might have
