    Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (IATA: MSY, ICAO: KMSY, FAA LID: MSY) is an international airport under Class B airspace in Kenner city, Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, United States. It is owned by the city of New Orleans and is 11 miles (18 km) west of downtown New Orleans. A small portion of Runway 11/29 is in unincorporated St. Charles Parish. Armstrong International is the primary commercial airport for the New Orleans metropolitan area and southeast Louisiana.

    MSY covers 1,500 acres (607 ha) of land.[3][4] At an average of 4.5 feet (1.4 m) above sea level, MSY is the third lowest-lying international airport in the world, only behind Amsterdam Airport Schiphol in the Netherlands, which is 11 feet (3.4 m) below sea level, and Atyrau International Airport in Kazakhstan, which lies 72 feet (22 m) below sea level

    My flight simulator froze and crashed when I was setting up for a flight. As I had just installed this airport, my guess is that the crash was caused by this airport. I will now be using the LVFR airport of MSY from here on out.

    yes I can fix that by using object from standart edition
    but I will have to rework and recompile the whole package

    the new terminal building is from MSFS premium objects set
    it may not appear for some dear simmers who do not own premium version of MSFS

    Gates on the new Terminal feel too long imo, they refuse to connect to front doors on PMDG 737, always going to rear.

    Significant improvement! The old terminal on the south side is pretty much shuttered these days though. They only use a small portion of the apron for Breeze Airways parking it seems.
